Unfortunately I have to pull out. The Contemptor is far from finished and it's impossible for me to find time the coming week. I'll return when the less hectic january comes.

Just count me as dead or missing on Istvaan III for now.

Sorry for the delay, but I had some other things to do in this month. I've been watching the progress of the others - really great work had been done.

As for my part: I finished painting on the Knight Errant - hopefully there will be some pics coming today. It is always hard to convince my sister to lend her camera, but this time I had to beg nearly the whole weekend :)

The only thing that is missing is the base, but I will wait with it, untill I know, where to put my Legions locally... There is a whole galaxy to conquer :)

Spartan is looking great Atia, I look forward to the completed beastie. Love the iron warriors too brother virus, there is some fantastic progress there! Leonie, we await your knight with baited breath....

Meanwhile, I might actually be able to paint my vow on Friday... Maybe....

Right...

Someone's gotta stick up for us Loyalists...

A squad of 20 Tactical Marines all finished, bar the IF Shoulder pads that I'm waiting on Forgeworld to release. Hopefully before Christmas, but given my luck, probably not.

Well done to everyone else so far, and apologies for not being around as much this month. Life has been busy.

@Atia - I share your frustrations on putting a Spartan together. I've had one half built and barely painted on a shelf for nearly two years now because I got so annoyed at the tracks. Yours is looking much better than mine though. I look forward to seeing it finished!

@Brother Vidius - You've made that Contemptor look really good. I wasn't sold on it when FW released it, but you've changed my mind. I'm glad I don't need to weather the amount of firepower you've painted up this month!

Cheers Reyner! It's based on the Marines Malevolent scheme, which I'd done a small force of when I was playing 40k. I wanted to do something similar for my VII Legion, because I really like it.

Forgeworld have stuck a similar scheme into Conquest, which made me very happy indeed when I saw it. Something is something compared to vindication, etc. msn-wink.gif

Again some delay, but today I managed to get those pics.

Here comes Vengeance Incarnate of the Noble House Saharov

The base will remain in this half-state, until the other reinforcements arrive on my paiting table. As for the Knight-Errant: it was a great time painting that beast, only some of the decals were a pain to apply, because I never tried them before.

I don't know what (and when) will follow, as I'm still waiting to be able to do an order from Forge World (I know - decisions wacko.png).

I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THIS OMG

Its a good thing that this was the same project for March of the Legions and Casual Hobby Challenge!

Note on the left side shoulder the scraping that occurred due to primer problems. Also how I failed to get a nice purple-to-blue-to-green fade on the legs and went :cuss it! its green!
