And you can technically invest 300+ points into a single HQ model if you play Mechanicum; meaning you can technically do a Million Dollar Man joke thing.

Just be glad its Corax and not Angron. You want someone to turn your dudes into red paste? Look no further. Hell, he even stands a strong chance at insagibbing a Warhound titan before it gets to stomp him if he can get into CC with it fast enough.

Naw, why present one big threat when you can present MULTIPLE big threats for Target Saturation/Overload?

True, but wouldn't it be more forgiving in bigger 4-8k games? Kieran doesn't seem to be suffering with Corax and his unit being a big target so far (I know that is my fault for not tagging them as quickly)... The missions end up being the dominating factor in what ends up as a priority...

Well, its always down to points limit. On the one hand, target saturation places your opponent, WLK in this case, Between a rock and a Hard Place. It also potentially lets you Circumvent Corax's Targeting Shenanigans.

 

On the other hand, a single uber-beef squad is more likely to nuke something dead when they sneeze on it vs having multiple ever-so-slightly weaker units.

 

Theres also playstyle to consider. What might be cool in theory to run might not be something you find fun :P
