Drop Assault out

The game has crawled, for me anyway, to an unbearable crawl... Takes days for any upgrade to get trough, and I need millions to purchaze any upgrades yet ennemies yield only ~50k each...

i don't get this. Don't you have a relic that boosts power and resource rewards? I have both at ~+30% and I average about 85k per npc. Also, when you refresh player bases, look for one that is online, and just try to attack him after every npc base - chances are he'll be offline for a sec and you get to steal al his hard won power! Just today I raided two bases for 800k and 1.4million respectively - I've started upgrading my science, vault, and comms in less than 24 hrs. Now I can leave the game alone for a couple days, let the economy restore itself (bases get tetaken), and I have time for some real life painting! :d

Those relics really do help. Between like five different relic bonuses that stack rather than overlap, I have a Power Production rate of ~145%, and a Rewards boost of 58% extra. My Munitions only get a Rewards boost of about 30%, but that never runs out anyways.

All thanks to "Resource" Production/Rewards stacking with "Power" and "Munitions" Production/Rewards.

Those few times I see Power rewards in the hundreds of thousands, it is nice knowing I'll be getting hundreds of thousands more.

It took me a solid hour to farm an HQ upgrade to 16, after using all my Power on some Rally upgrades. That was about 2 million Power. I'm sure the others will take longer.

Titan back down to 50? Not in my game, it's still 70 where I'm at.

@Conn Eremon: npc bases yield more power and ammo the higher your level, so it will take less time to collect the required amount of power to upgrade the higher you're up. Conversely however, power prices go up too. Two million power will take 15 minutes, but the average building costs 2 million to upgrade too. :tu:

Titan back down to 50? Not in my game, it's still 70 where I'm at.

Checked this morning, mine's at 50...

Ah, you mean energy. But a fire raptor is a 'troop' (the flyer), which you have to build with ammunition. Deploying troops doesn't cost energy at all. Perhaps you mean the Deathstorm assault pod?

Unless things have radically changed since last Saturday, since I haven't been able to properly log in since then. The game keeps shutting off after a couple of seconds after starting up, and customer service hasn't been as fast as usual...

Yes, I'm fully aware it's a Troop. You still have to expend energy to deploy it.

Taken just now:

Note the little "3 bullet" in the Fire Raptor entry. Also displayed is the cost of the Titan in my game.

sorry if I sounded pedantic, I didnt mean to :) just trying to make things as clear as possible, because for some reason we're not all upgraded yet... I never noticed the energy requirement before. What a weird game mechanic.

Ah, I figured it out. Customer service told me the changes have been implemented for Android users, but not for iOs users. This'll happen in a couple of days...

iOs users: be sure to restart your device when the update is installed. :tu:

Sounds interesting. I am a big fan of how the update turned out. There was lots of tweeking for a couple of weeks - and I sure had to adapt tactics in a major way. But in the end I really think the game turned out better and more challenging than it was before. I also reached level 50 last week! Woot!

Congrats. Still on level 42 myself...

Version 1.2 is out now. Changelog:

Change log for November 19, 2015

GAMEPLAY CHANGES

Units, turrets and buildings are now all in 3D with much smoother animations!

The Archmagos, the first unit of the new Legion Elite class, is now available for battle! The Archmagos can be trained and upgraded with the new Legion Favour resource.

Performance and memory improvements mean that you will get into the game and into battles faster.

You will now see more visual upgrades to your buildings as you level them up.

You can now select the Beacon Combat Tactic for a single Unit Group by tapping on that Unit Group along the bottom of your screen.

Status effects in battle are much clearer.

Install and download sizes are significantly smaller.

There are new non-player base configurations to attack.

Non-player bases give larger rewards.

Top Weekly ranks are easier to attain with larger rewards.

Skirmish is temporarily disabled.

Chapter HQ building now displays Chapter flag

General bug fixes, performance improvements, and minor tweaks to the gameplay.

BALANCE CHANGES

Units now spread out more and occupy more space when they fire on a target. This particularly affects vehicles, which occupy more space than infantry.

Almost all unit and turret ranges (except the Terminator, the Mortar, and the Whirlwind) extended slightly.

Tactical Marines’ Health upgrades more with each level.

Terminators’ Health upgrades less with each level.

Jetbikes’ Health is increased.

Predators, Dreadnoughts and Glaives will stop to fire at any buildings along their path, and they will flatten any rubble in their way.

Deployment costs are reduced: Glaives now cost 4 Energy to deploy, Fire Raptors cost 2, and Dreadnoughts are free.

Anti-Armour Mine Damage is decreased.

The Bloodlust Tactic now affects a smaller area and gives a 50% Damage bonus, but its duration is substantially increased.

The Titan is much more powerful.

Various other minor balance changes.

Logged on earlier to a very pretty update.

Legion favour is obtained by stomping bases, etc. The Archmagos requires 100 to muster and takes 45 minutes. The level two upgrade requires 1000 favour...

They have Servo Skulls that heal nearby things and curse enemy units (but I've yet to see in in action).

Went up against a base earlier and got stomped. Think I need to change my tactics slightly following the update. Also, I'm not really seeing any increase in the Titan's power level :dry.:

I played one battle. Where before I would have destroyed it with perhaps two or three jetbike casualties, now I lost All. Of. Them.

Again, they've changed the game completely. Ugh.

I reached level 50 a couple weeks ago, and was planning to continue until I couldn't upgrade my base or any upgrades any further. Now, not so sure if I'll continue.

Just downloaded this yesterday. Loyal Sons of Horus. I like it but if I'm honest, boom beach and sw commander are getting more of my attention. Any general tips i should be aware of?

  • Hoard your Machine Spirit to begin with; you're going to need Techmarines to build/upgrade multiple things on your base and this is how you purchase them. Do it as soon as you can.
  • Your vault protects your munitions and power. Personally, I have found to make this a priority upgrade and when I'm offline, I keep my stored supplies just below the vault protection level so it doesn't get stolen...
  • As tempting at it is to upgrade the shiney choices first, don't neglect upgrading your minition dumps and power stations (and eventually the storage options). Also, don't automatically collect your harvested supplies; the vault (also) protects a percentage of that and it's better to leave it there and take it when you need it, then to take it and push your supplies over the vault limit.
