I-i-is that a Carronade! wub.png

Why yes good sir it is! Going to put more time into it tonight and post up some pictures. If there is one thing that gets you motivated its Volkite!

WOW loving that burned metal look.

and i like how you left metal on the rear armour on the iron armour

Thank you daemonclaw, I take that as a huge compliment given you own skills!

That burned metal I spectacular!

Thank you brother, the pressure is on now not to flop on the rest of the tank!

Okay B&C an in progress check:

I have started to slowly build up my second layer on the hull, given the fact that I added some pre-shading into the joints I am trying to achieve a solid color without loosing the brown shade. I am taking a pause due to the fact that my wife summoned me to watch some House of Cards. I will Finnish the second layer tonight even if its tomorrow before that happens!

Update!

I have fleshed out the yellow and started on the decals once I have decided on the exact locations and the actual decals I want to add i will seal them all then I have to move onto the wash then weathering!

You have spoke and I hear, I will use the heated metal look on my Sicaran and make a small tutorial as I go. In the real world I have started a rotating shift work job that has me working 6 days a week, so updates may not come as often as I would like..... stay tuned!

So I have done a little work, each time I sit before this beast I feel as though I should leave her alone until my skill improves, its an amazing model I hope that you think that I have done her justice so far:

As always let me hear your comments, concerns, fears or doubts!

Cheers

Phalanx Warder

It looks really good so far man.

Thanks Brother!

Every time I go into my hobby area and sit down it takes me a good 5 minutes to build up the courage to do more work to it, I am so scared I am going to mess it up!

Wow, really smooth yellow on that beast and the effect you've got on the metal is really something.

Thanks brother,

I have spent many an hour refining my method, it was quite daunting looking at all of that armor knowing just how easy it would be to mess up teehee.gif

Somehow I've missed this thread untill today. I've always loved the Glaive model, and you, sir, are doing it great justice! Awesome work, and great to see it gradually develop. Looking forward to more!

Hope these words still ring true and here is more:

The smoke stacks are still very much WIP lots to do, like adding the same heated metal look that is on the cannon.

Nicely done sir and the zone pics are awesome

Thank you Capitano, I have to say that I have become quite a fan of ZM games. Win or lose they are always fast and brutal!

!!! Wowowow!! Lookin forward to your heat distortion tutorial- I've got an Archeon winging its way to me and I've wanted to have a go at that for awhile.

Love your fists man!

I just got of off a 12 shift at work and I will back in 12 more for my last 12hr shift before I get some free time keep your eyes pealed!

It's looking great so far, fabulous TT quality when finished I bet.

Thanks brother!

Stay tuned still lots to do!

Great work on the Glaive, especially the burned metal.

Thank you!

As stated above I will post a tutorial soon!

that tank is a stone hard rockstar man nice work post some tips on you're weathering its really well done and I would love to know how you did it .  For that matter I would love to see you do a tutorial on you're yellow method on he videos I am on the cusp of buying an airbrush before I tackle any forge world vehicles but I know nothing about it so would appreciate any advice keep up the epic work those pesky traitors will never prevail against you're epic Banana coulored panzer death machine.

Greetings Brothers and Sisters,

I have been in a MAJOR hobby rut but with ETL underway I have decided now is the time to add to my Fists, speaking of which they recently marshaled in preparation for this major campaign that I am playing so I took some pictures!

The host in its (fully painted) entirety:

For ETL I plan on adding another 20 breachers, 2 Land Raiders, 5 Cata terminators, 10 Templar Brethren and a Spartan Death Conveyor!

Okay guys a serious question!

It relates to ETL.

Templar Brethren, Combat shields or not? I am waiting on washes to dry on my Land Raider vow for ETL and I started putting my TB together and I want to know if adding the shields is worth it?

If you had to play me and they were modeled with the shields and I choose not to take the shields as an option in a game that you were my opponent then would you be okay with me taking the minis that had the shields attached?
