504th Solar Auxilia Cohort “The Devils of Formenos.”

ROBOcaster

The resin bannerpole is a bit odd - the Death Korps banner comes with a brass rod. I don't know how much I'd trust that piece myself.

Yes good point... and you can see its already warped thats not hard to fix but it gives me little faith if happen to leave my army in car on a warm day then I may end up with a soggy banner.

This is the Malcador Step By Step

Stage 1: Pre-Weathering primed in Vallejo Grey Primer, Vallejo Neutral Grey sprayed in random patches, Vallejo Burnt Umber sprayed in random patches (where rust would collect.), Cover whole tank in Satin Varnish, and finally Sprayed with AK Interactive Heavy Chipping all over tank.

More to follow. Standby!

The weathering process turned out good, but the chipping colour might be a little light at this stage - it's more as if the paint has flaked off over time revealing the factory undercoat (which still works mind you) rather than damage.

Interested nonetheless to see the final product (and I keep getting reminded that I need to find some microsol).

Hey do you know whats up with the Dracosan? Its been out of stock for some time on the FW site.

Yeah no idea I wanted to pick another one up the other day and it said out of stock. I don't stay on the up and up with FW news but perhaps they are getting a new mold for it maybe they one they were using already met its end of life..

Perfect this is suppose to flaked and chipped paint not battle damage.

And yes get some Micro Sol next time you use decals its works very well.

The Malcador has turned out great. Really like what your doing here.

Thanks Ill try to have some more up tonight.
