I agree that a Skype meeting would be very beneficial to us as a community as well as it would provide motivation not only for painting but for the hobby in general.

On a side note, those wishing to add me on skype feel free to contact me on: markozeleni333 and write your B&C name so I will add you.

Gods of the Warp, i'm prepared for this year's ETL. After failing so spectacularly last year (due to summer classes jumping up to bite me in the rear), i kinda stopped painting altogether....though i didn't stop buying and assembling laugh.png. So i must have perhaps 20,000 points of unpainted chaos laying about.

One question though, need i fully base the models to get credit? Or can i put the basing off until later?

So, I been thinking maybe people would like to get on skype and have a painting night during ETL. This way we get feedback on miniatures and strengthen community bonds.

Perhaps we could designate a few times a week where Frater can get on and help each other out. That maybe the best way to accommodate a global community.

No need to base, just need paint jobs.

Wrt Slype stuff, sounds fun. Means dragging myself into the 20th Century and getting Skype set up...

*dons Effrit armour, goes snooping*

Angels of Death: Fairly quiet so far.

Blood Angels: Optimistic, but few in number. That said, there's the shame of the last few events spurring them on.

Dark Angels: Haven't even start mobilising. Clearly doing the usual wait to see where the wind is blowing.

Space Wolves: Beginning to rouse. One to watch I think.

Horus Heresy: The train is rolling. Organised, motivated and more popular than last year thanks to more being available. I reckon they may well Top 3.

Agents of the Imperium: No real interest thus far, Skitarii/AdMech stuff dropping may well spur them on though.

Imperial Guard: They've got the numbers and the drive, but I can see the fact a Guardsman is like, no points being an issue.

Of course its early days yet, but that's how everyone else is looking.

We will crush them, no matter what occurs. We are the chosen sons of the gods, let the slaughter begin!!!

I would assume Heresy would be the biggest threat, especially given their general points cost per model compared to others.

Agreed, but thankful the HH usually paint there troops to high quality, so it should take more time.

We still have a month left to prepare.  Let get some building and priming done folks!

I second this. Feel free to contact me at sheesh.mode, please provide your B&C name.

Name a day. Fridays and Sundays are typically best for me at 1800.

That said, I can't avoid basing my models as I just don't consider them finished until then: it's definitely a personal choice (unless that becomes a change for this year!).

But do I paint up my legionnaires up as chaos night lords or legionnaire night lords crisp and clean and only a couple of decades of war under their belt and join the hh team

Do whatever you want as long as you vow for chaos.  We have cookies.

I have a new EBay helbrute inbound.

My friends say they should be visiting and bringing my old army with them either in May or June.

If they get here before it ends I'll have about 5,000ish points to pledge.

If not, it'll be closer to a few hundred points.

2 quick questions;

Is Imperial Armour 13 useable?

If yes,

I'm working on converting a Land Raider into a Relic Sicaran tank. Would this be acceptable?
