With this just being an incremental update I'm not going to write my own blog article, just a quick post here with the pertinent developments! As such the images posted are a wee bit bigger so you can see what Im going on about!

+++ Resin Delivery! +++

My Legion tactical squad & Contemptor arrived today, Huzzah! So I spent hours cleaning and sonic bathing the contents of the package!

I made the executive decision to paint all the firearms separate from their marines, the progress on this can be seen below;

(for those interested the scheme in the picture is Undercoat Chaos Black Spray, Airbrush basecoat of Boltgun Metal, drybrush of Mithril Silver, then Airbrush application of Army Painter Dark Wash. Thats it for now...)

I assembled the Contemptor and it's weapon options, then started painting their armour in the same manner as I described for Sevatar

+++ Magnet Magic! +++

Like the Praetor from my previous post the weapon options on the Contemptor are magnetized, to increase its options and reduce further costs! To paint these options without having to constantly handle them I jury-rigged a magnetic painting stand, pictured below. (Sprue, Plasticard, GW Regiment bases & Magnets)

It *just so happens* to also be able to house the aforementioned Praetors options

Thats all for now, back to the painting table!

Its been a while since I posted any updates, but I have been painting! (I just don't finish anything...)

So, with that out of the way here is the most recent progress made to my fledgling 30K Night Lords force. It's mainly detailing left to do, shoulder detail, bones, flesh and the like.
