Will get the turret finished tomorrow lunch and then start on the main body of the tank, try and get most of that done tomorrow night, and then finish off on Saturday lunchtime 1300 GMT

02:10, last day of ETL (I'm not counting the 1st of August as a day of ETL, given that we don't get all 24 of its hours).

VOW COMPLETED, without a proper desk or any kind of chair.

My first time attempting to use greenstuff, without proper tools, and with a major oversight in the right elbow's tube. But eh, at least it's complete. And those skitarii heads are glorious for marines.

Do several small vows I said, keep it reasonable I said.

 

And here I am on the final night rushing to finish.... AGAIN!

 

That being said, mission accomplished.  My original vow was here, 

  • 10 Gravewardens, 3 chain fists, heavy flamer - 400 points
  • Legion Fellblade - 525 points

All of these completions are spectacular, freehand, flames and crispness, weathering. These are a thing of beauty.

Vow 1 (finally) complete! Been so busy the last 3 weeks, I've had to cram in the last few bits in 2 days. The odd bit hasn't been finished like touches on some bolt guns etc, but they're effectively done. Not bad for 2 months work though.

Pictures aren't great (havnt the time to take any better at present, but there are plenty of detailed photos throughout this thread as I've been going along), but here's my completed vow, with a tacked on picture at the end as I forgot to add my Rapiers to the group shot.

Finally, I can have a break...by starting stuff for my second legion biggrin.png

First and only Vow completed, I thought ETL ended in the end of august, so kinda had a little panic to finish everything.

685 points, this might the fastest I've painted this "many" points. xD

I also finished some other stuff I had planned to vow (ive posted wips in my wip thread). After posting my first finished Vow, is it kosher to post my second, with pre-pics and post? 

I don't think you will get points for them if you started painting before vowing, but I don't think anyone would mind the extra inspiration.

Sounds fair! Its my Praevian I posted last month that Ive finished, so I'll show that along with my vow 1 :)
