Thanks! I'm about half way through my second vow. I still have an Eradicator, a Chimera and a Command Squad with Master of Ordnance. I don't know what I'll do for my third vow yet. I have a plasma obliterator that I may finally get around to assembling and painting.

 

I usually listen to 40K podcasts while I paint while sipping on a Sam Adams or three.

My preferred Beer is Old Chub, it gets me going quicker (8% will do that). That gets me nice and relaxed and in the groove. 

 

Keep it going Lets get some more knocked out. Let's show the B&C how the Guard does things!

Slow progress the last few days. Drawing closer to my wedding day so other things to do. Glad a got my vow in though so I can keep going. Hopefully I'll get the bastion finished this weekend

We're doing well, it'll all come down to completions so don't worry about anything other than getting your vows completed! Let me worry about those who do not... ;)

 

Not long until entrants are closed, so if you're thinking of taking part in this glorious crusade and earning your place amongst the elite of the Veteran company then you should think about making your vow! It doesn't need to be completed right away or even a large one, it's just getting your foot in the ETL door before it closes. Once you've vowed you can carry on and make additional vows past the June deadline :)

I finished mine last night. Horrible horrible model to assemble.

Congrats! Weddings are always fun...when you're getting married, that is happy.png! Many blessings to you both.

I'm wondering if I should finish my vow another day. I managed to drop and break my shaver and iron my thumb today so I'm hesitant to touch my tank in case I bugger that up too laugh.png

Probably best if you didn't touch anything important, Lord. Don't pick up any babies, while you're at it laugh.png!

I elected not to risk my tank as I've spent too much time and effort on it to mess it up with clumsiness. There will be plenty of time to finish it off so I busied myself with other tasks :) I should have some time Monday to finish it off, especially since I got some extra things done today :D

 

It's not all about the big efforts after all, success is made from lots of little steps too :tu:

Huh... I didn't realise my painting actually looked any good until just now. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to feel about that. Well... Aside from a number of touch-ups Capernik needs.

Decided to throw some paint at the big boy. I 've I got started I couldn't stop. Now he's all done. It hasn't came out great on here but there a lot of rust and weathering on it. On to my engineers......
