OzDestro
Hey there, I recently bought the Kastellan kit from Games Workshop and when I looked at the parts I found that it would seem pretty easy to make the model super-poseable! There are tabs in the ankles, knees and hips that restrict movement. I think this is due to weight issues, because once these tabs are removed the legs become very floppy. The good part is thought, that you get a great range of movement and once you get that perfect pose, you can just glue them into place as you would normally. The thing is - ti's really easy. I've put together a quick 2 minute video to show you: http://www.ozdestro.com/blog/kit-bashing-your-kastellan-to-make-it-super-poseable and a few pics. Hope you give this a go!! http://www.ozdestro.com/uploads/1/3/0/1/13014732/5375649_orig.jpg http://www.ozdestro.com/uploads/1/3/0/1/13014732/1575772_orig.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/307770-making-your-kastellan-super-poseable/ Share on other sites
Xenith
Nice. GW have been doing this a lot recently, limbs have tabs in them to glue them stably, or you can cut them off to get different poses. Same with the Wraithknight, Maulerfiend, etc, however these look really flexible!
