First batch of Skyrar's Dark Wolves CSM are done.

More than half a year passed since I made myself to painting again... this week finished second part of Skyrar's Dark Wolves Chosen/CSM:

 

Counting guys I've made earlier now I can field 8 man Chosen squad with various Aspiring Champion and weapon loadout (main one = 5 Plasma Pistol + stuff) + Chaos Lord and a 5 man CSM squad.

 

Fun to say, but these models are illegal (WYSIWYG wise) in current edition.

Last addition to my CSM army - Chaos Terminators in Blood Disciples Warband colours (Khorne aligned, but don't wear red).

 

Models are a simply kitbash from older metal and old plastic Chaos Terminators wtih small addition from other kits, like Trophy Racks from Chaos Demon Prince kit and unhelmeted face from Dark Vengeance starter kit Helbrute (both are on Terminator champion). Also note Khorne symbol from Chaos Spawn kit as an Icon of Wrath (Khorne) on Twin LC Terminator.

 

Models were assembled during last gasps of 7th edition of W40K and have "not optimal"  wargear.

Terminators look absolutely brutal, I love that helbrute head on the champion! Will definitely be stealing that idea!

Also note what Helbrute box have 5 or 6 different faces/heads. If you have one then you could convert 5 strong Chaos Terminator squad with easy (albeit some trimming/sanding still needed).
