I had once the idea of a kind of cliche viking style wolves. So i combined these guys here. They´re just for my showcase and won´t be for gaming. Whatcha think? :)

ombined Wolves, Chaoswarriors (WHFB) and beastmen parts.

Firstly welcome smile.png

Secondly they're an awesome mix of parts. Really love your paint style too, they really do look like 'hard as nails' dirty warriors. As mentioned above would make a cool 13th company.

I definitely understand why you use your more 'regular' models for gaming but still ..... get those on the table at some point for some beautiful battle reports lol

Nice job. If those were dudes that I had done up, I would roll with a few of them in my army.

I like the guy on the left and in center a lot in the top pic. You did a very good job with all of them of course, but I don't know if I am feeling that sharkfin helm on the guy on the right. The thunderwolf and rider look amazing, especially the glowing around the cybernetic eye on the wolf.

Thank you all. Glad you like them. May i will make more of these, but first i need new stuff, or i need to find the rest of the bits in the tons of greyness XD i also had been thinking about the same style as skyclaws or long fangs, but well, that would be tricky with the backpack. in that case they just don´t have one >< but first i really need that new space wolves upgrade kit i wanna make a new ragnar model... <3

For SkyClaws and Long fangs, might I suggest keeping the breastplate, and just go with bare arms and head. Or possibly using green stuff to make the harness for the back pack. The only reason I brought up using the breastplate (torso bits), was because that's what the backpack is suppose to connect to (in the fluff). Just because Berzerkers were crazy, doesn't mean they were stupid.

Just a thought.

aye that was also my first thought, may breaking the breastplate a bit like they would have cracked theirselves out of the armour or something like this >< a friend of mine said i should take wings and make male valkyries, but that sounds toooo weird XD and seriously, i cannot imagine berserks with wings.

Fantasy chaos marauders have almost bare chests, with straps and chains on them. I've been doing a similar thing mixing marine bits with marauder chests and arms, and what I do give them all packs. The proportions of the beast men chests look a lot better though, the marauder chests can be a bit small. I might get a set of beastmen and see how it pans out...In any case, those straps justify the back packs, either normal or jump.

As for using them in your games...I do use mine, never received a critic, or at least from a gaming perspective. From a fluff perspective I've been told I should stop pretending and get myself a bloodthirster :) (which I just might...a what if branch for my chapter)
