Choom! Choom!

The guy on the left has Spellcrow legs and torso; very impressed with the quality of those bits.

I think someone responsible for the FB page (or at least the image they used) listens to waaay too much dubstep. :P

Ah another white solar tank. Battle of the white choom it is! You madam are on. (Also looking pretty good by the way looks nice and beat up)

My black & purple solar tanks will not stand for such a lack of diversity! *Rabble rabble rabble*

A question for the frater of the MDRC, how are people modeling Combi-Volkites?
Although they seem not so great ruleswise given the relatively few units that can take them, they just seem like a cool opportunity to add more Choom!

I was pondering having Tac Vets modelled with combi-volkites to count as both their bolter and Serpenta. Gamewise, they'd be slightly more useful than a combi-volkite and, fluffwise, it'd hark back to 2nd Ed with the Serpenta packing some up close punch and the bolter being used for longer ranges.

More great looking models for the Choom Club ! :)

Did I say that I won my two first games in... nearly a year, using my first ever heresy army with a couple of volkites here and there ? For 500 points, you don't necessarily get that much volkite, but I FELT THE CHOOM ! It is definitely a warm feeling of raw power... especially when it is lodged within the vile xenos breeds known as the Necrons and the Tyranids

So I had my first experience of volkite goodness tonight. I was playing in a 30k RPG (using a version of inquisitor rules). It turns out that a volkite caliver does nasty things to traitor scum.

The best moment had to be in the last turn of the game, where I attempted to carve "Choom" into a fallen adversary's armour, then proceeded to roll a critical success. Think Word Bearer levels of ingraving, but with only the word "CHOOM".
