Any advise on fluff for a chapter fielding telly packs/assault packs and Chooom on as many things as possible??

Is it a 40k Chapter or a 30k Legion Chapter? The latter will be far easier to make a background for than the former.

That would be Night Lords. They get Deep Strike Terminators who can pick up Volkites and Infiltrating Terror Squads as troops, along with a significant buff in the latest rules.

Pick up a ML2 Librarian running Telekinesis and hope for Levitate. Could fluff Night Raptors as having Teleport Packs too, rather than Jump Packs.

Ideally for a 40k chapter, as if I do a legion i can just say their homeworld is a forge world specializing in those items

Err, how could you say that a legion's homeworld is a forge world. We know of the official legion's homeworlds and none of them are forge world's ?

For a chapter, you might say that they have had strong ties to the inquisition to gain access to the telyportas. You might also have gained access to the primogenitor's arsenal of broken choom, and tried to repair it. Despite now having usable volkite technology, it is extremely volatile (gets hot!) And meddling with the machine has soured your relations with the mechanicum to breaking point, the tensions only needing a slight disturbance to boil over into all out war

IIRC the desgnation forgeworld has more to do with who governs the world than with the amount of industry the world has. Legion homeworlds obviously never have been governed by the Mechanicum, so they wouldn't have been called forgeworlds.

For the more developed worlds like Ultramar, Prospero or Colchis it is not unlikely to have industry to rival Forgeworlds. Those could also have the capability to produce volkite weapons.

For a 40k Chapter, however, being able to maintain Volkite Tech would be nigh-impossible.

2 Reasons, one of them "rules based"

1) The Only Volkite weapon thats currently in 40k is the Tech Priest Dominus and his Volkite Blaster. He's a pretty high ranking dude in the Mechanicum so he must have some tech secrets hidden somewhere that only he, or a very few others, know about.

2) A tank like the Cerberus is allowed in standard 40k. It fires a Neutron Laser. A Tank like the Glaive, which fires a Volkite Carronade isn't permitted, neither is the Knight Styrix who has a Volkite Chieroville....but then we have a Knight Atrapos who has a Graviton Singularity Gun.

If they can make guns that shoot Gravitational Singularites but can't maintain and Replicate Volkite which is essentially a Martian Death Ray, then, as much as I dont want to be a Negative Nancy or Debby Downer or even stifle your Creative freedom, Volkite, en masse, in 40k used by Space Marines makes little-to-no logical sense.

Choom.... Away!!!

Choom Veteran squad, got no idea how they might perform however...

Exceptional :D that is how it's done.

Was contemplating this sort of squad with Dark Angels. If you run Iron Wing the serpentas (and subsequent deflag rolls) get +1 to wound. Which is pretty amazing. Wounding MEQ on a 2+.

Combos nicely with thier sword mastery too.

Rule of cool :)

Nah man, clues in the name Forge-World The whole world is a forge.

Any space for arts, crafts, parks and gardens takes space away from manufacturing. Forge Worlds exist only to produce materiel of war. The only thing that comes close is a mechanicum forge ship, which I believe the raven guard had one in their fleet.

The Raven Guards planet, Kiavhar, of which Deliverance Orbits, is a Forgeworld wholly in service to the Raven Guard to the point that its caused Friction with the Mechanicum since they dont want to share their specialist tech with them.
