Olis
I suppose I'll have to join this club now...because volkite is a sexy beast. Just purchased a copy of HH:4 and twenty veletaris with volkite chargers. Solar Marharius will be leading then with twin serpenta for extra choom. Looking forward to bringing the choom! Marvelous news, brother. Take your pick of the signature images at the beginning of the thread. ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/308805-martian-death-ray-club/page/43/#findComment-4332206 Share on other sites

Anvilarium
So... Is this CHOOM enough for you all? A pair of Twin-Linked Volkite Calivers for one of my Iron Hands Contemptor Dreadnoughts. Aeternus
If any of you were looking for a volkite serpenta without getting a whole weapon pack, think I've found a possible alternative? Yet! Yet being the key word there ;) Besides, a pack of pistols is about £3, for 5 alternative bolt pistols and one serpenta with a sight. Fair enough, I'd say. Thats an Anvil Industry Widow Maker Pistol set Also available, for another alternative volkite, is the top right black ops pistol by the same pistol - and here you can choose Right handed or Left handed. Olis
Interesting pistols. Anvil Industry sure knows the meaning of 'ersatz' (just without the inferior quality - they're pretty good for 3rd party bits). ;) I wonder... maybe if someone asked nicely, they might get some Ion Pistols on their own. Maybe. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/308805-martian-death-ray-club/page/43/#findComment-4336780 Share on other sites
Charlo
Aye, absolutely love my heavy flamer and chain axes from Anvil. Plus the spartan heads! Oh and the "auto-scythes" that are pistols affixed to the fist with a chain a weapon on. Perfect for WE. Hopefully they do some choom inspired weapons soon. Knight of the Raven
Their ion rifle doesn't quite look like a volkite caliver though. But yes, Anvil Industry: all of my third party love. Even if their targeters and sights don't look good at all on phobos bolters. Then they got assigned to a Destroyer Sgt, makes him look proper murderey. I approve! Elzender
Interesting pistols. Anvil Industry sure knows the meaning of 'ersatz' (just without the inferior quality - they're pretty good for 3rd party bits). I wonder... maybe if someone asked nicely, they might get some Ion Pistols on their own. Maybe. According to their FB page, they'll be available eventually (as Aeternas and Charlo commented), but then again they are releasing a bunch of things and they have many more planned, so might be a bit until we see them available (I myself would fancy some of them, though I also like the FW ones, they remind me of 50's scifi weapons ) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/308805-martian-death-ray-club/page/43/#findComment-4337811 Share on other sites

Olis
It is indeed a big difference, brother. Just being that much closer to the enemy invites far greater danger. Although they're a second-line force, I would be inclined to use them as direct follow-up troops.
