What you need.

1- Parts for a Earthshaker gun from the Basilisk kit.

2- Gunshield from the Basilisk kit.

3- Warp Lightning Cannon kit

4- Extra Wheels, and other parts to make it more ‘Solid’ (The spare metal plates from the Chimera kit is what I use)

For the most part you will be assembling the Warp Lighting Cannon Kit as per Option 5 in the book. But with the following extra steps.

Like the Warp Lighting Cannon Kit, the first step is to build the weapon. The first step in our case is to glue together the Earthshaker gun. Following this you will need to clip part of the base of the gun to allow it to fit to the weapon mounting in the Warp Lighting Cannon Kit. See Image Bellow.

Next up add “Long Beam’ that the Warp Lighting Cannon kit uses to mount the Warp Lighting Cannon too. The attach the ‘Wheel/Hinges’ to the side of the assembly, unlike the Instructions in the Warp Lighting Cannon kit, use Glue, and also glue to the top of the wheel to the sides of the Earthsaker Cannon as this ensures that it will stay attached to the housing. See the following Images Bellow.

Build the Frame as per the instructions in the Warp Lighting Cannon Kit. Important note! Do not glue the Wheel/Hinges to the frame as the instructions tell you to do. (As you glued the hinge in the other spot to improve the bond with the Cannon its self).

Place the ‘short wooden board’ as shown on the following image, this will become the mounting for the Gunshield.

Finally once the two sides of the frame have been put together slide the final board in (Don’t put it where the Warp Lighting Cannon Kit instructions tell you) slide it into a spot at the back of the model to use a firing step behind the breach of the gun.

First up using parts from the Chimera Kit, and City’s of Death kits I added some more structure to the main body of the frame.

I then check then that the Gun Shield fits, I do not glue it until after painting.

I then raided by bits box or a few extra details pieces. And then I have one finished Earthshaker Emplacement.

Ok Update time.

Real Life has been killing me of late, being painting just not spending much time on my PC. I thought I would write this update up now, as I sit by the phone waiting to see if I am being made redundant..

So what have I being working on.

The first is another kit-bash. I decided I needed some Rapier Laser Destroyers, and decdied to see if I could make something to act as a counts as.. So using spare parts from the Warpfire Cannon kits that are making my earthshaker emplacements (and bits from the bits box). I have built the following pair of Guns. What do you think? (They are less Rapier Destroyers and some Dark-mecacancum Tec-Magic things, I see them lobbing balls of Darkness out something like that)

I have also started getting some paint on my next battle tank, still some detail to go. May get it finished tonight depending how drunk Iam…

Nice rapiers, what are you thinking of using for crew? I'd think that slightly altered skaven or some such would work well as twisted mechanicum slaves.

Update time:

So about 20 mins after my last post I was contacted by my job and made redundant, which has somewhat taken the wind out of my sails somewhat this last week. But I have got some things done.

Just starting to get moving again, and taking stock on what stuff I own as I doubt I will be getting many more miniatures till i have a new job. (Not that is an issue as I have quite the stock pile of things to build and paint)

I finished the Exterminator… (It’s also being kicking ass and taking names on the table).

I also finished painting the second earth shaker.

And then I have been working on building another 40+ Mutants and Regidages. This is a Photo of the work mat, and a close up of the mutants

Well I have not been updating this anywhere as much as I used to, I have actually been able to start geting things done again.

The First Big Project I had was 'saving' an old Leaman Russ Battle Tank.

Then following this I went back and touched up all my R&H infantry, adding some Nurgles Rot paint to all the bases. (I also painted another enforcer and 5 other Renegades)

The finialy last night I printed these guys as a test for future projects (and the ETL)

Yesterday I did some work converting up some Rogue psykers For my R&H army.

2 were complete kit-bashes, another was based on the Dark emissary from the old Dark Shadows Campaign, and the other is a rebased necromancer... who kinda fits with my Gothicy feeling R&H army anyhow.

Edit: I plan on painting the Extra Head on the two headed one to appear to be ethereal/other worldly as if he is pushing a Psychic form from his body.

Well I do have these WIP shots... Iam mostly happy with the head, need to dry brush very lighty some grey, or white onto the 'extra head' I think..

They shall soon be on the field of battle fighting some Grey Knights..

Thanks! I didnt think about the Chronicles of Riddick till you mentioned it... but yes that just adds to the greatness!

Now Tonight I decided that I needed to build some more Power Armoured Guys

So first up I have some bikers with the Mark of Khorn, used raptors heads for the bikers as it made them look more 'Fast'..

I also made some Raptors. Aiming to have 2 Melta Gun and 2 plasma pistol Raptors to join the squad with no special weapons I have built and painted already.

Hey All.

So over the last few days I have been building units for the ETL

First I fixed up my Warp Tallons

Then some Missile Launcher Havocs, kit bashed from a whole pile of kits

And then some Thousand Sons, and Sorcerers

Finally, today was my birthday, and my wife got me a whole stack of presents, the start of a new Nurgle army... and the last Sentinel I needed for my R&H army!

Ok ETL Prep 1!

Last night I spent the night working on building a whole stack of models! Trying to get everything ready for the ETL so I don't need to waist time on the building of models!

So First I finished another Havoc Unit, this one with Heavy Bolters)

The a collection of HQ's. (One Terminator Lord, One Dark Apostel, and one Lord of Khorn with a Jump Pack)

Then 10 Blood Letters, I have stripped paint from these after the first failed painting attempt

Then there was a whole pile of Horrors 15 in all, 10 plastic with 5 old metal ones.

Then I built 12 bases of Nurgelings, I had quite alot of the old style base and 3 of the newer style, so I added some of the new plastic ones to the metal bases to bulk them out I wasnt able to get them all, but it gives the effect that the Nurgelings are clustered in a more random way...

And then Finally, I built two Heralds One is the standard one from the box, the second is a headswap with the Lord of Plagues, its a lazy conversion I know but its effective.

Now I just have 30+ Plague Bearers to put together!

So, I picked up some River Trolls today to convert up to Beasts of Nurgle.

I then used some Green Stuff and spare heads from the Plague Drones kit to convert them up














I also have finished puting togther my plauge drones (no pictures, I was a little drunk)... and I also managed to get 20 more plague bearer's together.
