Delays..

Kinda in a mood at the moment as my house has been without power for the last 4 days! Had a Ice Storm hit and take out the power to most of the city. But it does mean itst going to be a few more days before I am back on track with my painting.

And I was doing so well..

And as can be seen bellow, even when I can be back in my house, painting time will be taken up with Yard work! :

looks like you got the cold end of all the rain that whipped through the arklatex area the last 4 or so days hope your able to get back to painting soon and yard work in the end is the worst of it. I gotta go drain the front yard

Tonight, I did some prep work on some more Renegade's Also built this Mutant Champion. I have to thank everyone who was involved in THIS conversation.

Managed to get some time to paint some more of my growing Renegades and Heretics force.

These guys may need a bit of a touch up here and there once the Wash has dried, but we will see..

Also as a follow on got the Yard sorted, this was the small barricade I built outside my house!

They're great. I reckon you could drill the barrels of your autocannons. I wouldn't worry too much about pistols and hand weapons etc., but the big guns are rather prominent.

 

And I absolutely love the squad leader. He's so characterful and bad ass. I'm desperate to know where his head is from?

Thanks! I do plan on Drilling out the Barrels, I just need to work out what the correct bit-size is... and where to get them. 

 

The Mutant Champ, is head is from the Skarr Bloodwrath kit. (whos body I used to build the last Herald)

Its been a Week or so since my last update, I have had quite a manic time at work. But over the last few nights got some painting done, mostly to get my League List together. (Note Pictures have poor light, I will try and get better ones up when I can)

Broke out the Plastic Cement and Super Glue Last night and started work on some Heavy Armour for my Renegades.

Oddly putting together the Tank was not as fun as some as the newer kits. The Detail was not present and had to raid my bits box for parts.

I expect it should be a Easy Paint job though.
