Slips, thanks for the work done yesterday. One more request, could you pin the Points Calculator?

Wouldn't it be possible instead to create a pinned "index"? There's so many pinned articles already, they're going to become complicated to navigate too.

I've made it. Would people mind if we left the General Discussion thread still pinned? So, two pins, Discussion & Index??

Also, there are several threads I found in the dark zone (anything past page 2) that conflict with more recent ones. I suggest we combine the Armies of the Mechanicum with the newer Titans thread. Not sure if we can fit the Questoris Familia thread in there, too. It's pretty big.

Just a thought that occured: Given the greater length of the Great Crusade, might not more variants of termie armour have been developped? So maybe a pattern for underwater engagements or another one that takes advice from boarding specialist legions about what they need and makes a more effective boarding terminator armour?

Pionus developed a variant of Tartaros for that reason, the Ceta pattern (along with Cyma pattern Mk IV)

By the way, could one of you pict-wizards do us an updated version of this? With a Nightguard and maybe a Shepherd added.

For extra points, you could add the Legion symbol above, below or next to each marine. For extra extra points, a shield for the Lion and a volkite for the Lightning Bearer.

If we go with half the Primarchs (as Mortarion tells us were present at one of the canon Lost Legion incidents, hence how many I included in Executio), this is what I'd suggest:

- Icarion

- Alexandros

- Morro

- Pionus

- Hec

- Andezo

- Gwal

- Yucahu

- Daer'dd

Going partly by who'd have the most reason to be there, and who'd provide some good material to work with in the story.

I think Kozja has replaced Yucahu, but other than that and maybe swapping Koschei with Andezo I'm happy with this lineup. One thing that's occurred to me is that surely this is a sensible time to bring in the Nightguard, and even have some of them and the Custodians with Russ?

I'm not familiar with the paternova Thorn mentioned. Can anyone clarify for me?

Don't forget the Ghost Walker needs to be replaced with a Predator.

That's what I meant by updated.

Also bonus additional extra points for putting a black visor on the Scion's helmet, as per Slips' description

The Paternova of the navigators. I'd started working on him for the Grand Councils, but that thread didn't get much attention, so my excitement sort of fizzled out :(

But I still plan on getting something done for him :)

Inspiration hasn't been striking for the book 3 fluff recently so I took a break and put some thought into potential variants on the Imperial Creed once Alex legalises it.

Calvinean Ecclesiarchy

Founded upon the battlefields of Calvine during the Scouring, the Calvinean branch of the imperial creed has one fundamental belief: when the Emperor was mortally wounded upon Terra and as he was interred in the Golden Throne, the Emperor's soul fragmented. Only a small morsel of it stayed in his earthly form. The billions upon billions of fragments of his soul that were scattered found refuge within the wider mass of humanity. Seeing that he would no longer be able to protect humanity in person, the Emperor had instead chosen to impart a portion of his strength and will to each of his subjects so that they could protect themselves. Calvineans believe that the only souls the Emperor will save upon the last day are those who used the power he gave them to save themselves and humanity through their self sacrifice. For Calvineans, the purest death is death in battle against the Emperor's foes. Those who die in such a maner will be granted the ultimate honour: the morsel of his strength the Emperor gave them shall rejoin the Emperor's consciousness, bringing him one step closer to re awakening.

Thoran Ecclesiarchy

Believe the Emperor allowed himself to be struck down on Terra in order to test his subject's faith. Only the elect few who's faith held strong and who didn't give in to despair in spite of hardship would be saved. The Thoran branch of the imperial faith believe that the faith of each individual must be tested every day and they must hold true to the course set for humanity by the Emperor in order to be saved. Because of this, Thorans live by strict set of 10 commandments which test them to temper the faith.

Purist Ecclesiarchy

Believe that salvation by the Emperor is not something that can be altered by a human's actions. Instead, it is pre ordained by the purity of the human's form. Those whose form echoes that of the Emperor are those who are to be saved. Those whose form is that of a mutant are the damned.

Hm, yeah, I guess that's the only numbers we have to work with. So, have either 20 or 18 commandments...or both. Perhaps have the number of commandments cause a schism a millennia or two down the road between 20 or 18, whether it be violent or peaceful.

Ah, OK.
