30k Force Org Help - Mechanicum & Knights

Thanks for checking this thread out. 

 

So I've started a Mechanicum army & I'm super stoked to field it soon. 

In January I have a huge campaign game to attend however to make it to 5k, I would need to ally in my 3 knights- which brings me on to my question.

 

If I am fielding an Age of Darkness CAD with my Mechanicum, how do I go about fitting in 3 knights as well? ( Lancer, Paladin & Acheron) 

 

The list I had written is something like this;

 

 

Archmagos Satarael

 

Thallax x 3

Thallax x 3

Thallax x 3

Thallax x 3

Traitors Armoured conveyer

Myrmidon x 5 

 

Krios x 2

Knight Detathcment

Is there a way for me to do this legally? ( Points may be off, this is a rough idea of what I have / what I want to bring. maybe I'll have to make changes when i actually write it up.

Book 4 Has the Questoris Knight List. If you can run two Detachments, one AoD one Questoris Knights then you can do the above no problem. Otherwise, I dont believe they can be taken in an Allied Detachment due to them being "Knights" and only gaining an FoC slot when they Purchase a Household Rank which they can only do in a Questoris Detachment.

 

A Way around this would be to make the Questoris Knights your Primary, Ordinatus your LoW choice (I think its eligible?) and your Admech the Allied Detachment in the even that you're unable to run two Detachments.

 

Edit: Re-read the rules. Household Ranks can be given to Knights in an Allied or Questoris Knight Detachment. You can totally do the above no problem.
