Hey guys, seeing as I am having a COMPLETE writers block and other writing project coming up, it seems like I personally will not be able to write the eagle warrior part for this book.

BUT, here comes the plottwist of this post, seeing as I have a good vision of how my legion works, I am willing to offer a deal for the person who wants to write my eagle warriors piece for this book and maybe needed pieces for other books, I am willing to sculpt a primarch for the person who will write the eagle warriors part, I really want them represented in this book, and it would be a shame to have to leave them out because of my total writers block. So please feel free to PM me if you are intrested in this offer, ask me all the guestions you need to write the pages and I will give a detailed description of the eagle warriors legion as a whole.

Athrawes, I need two pieces of information to finish the groundwork to the Madrigal Purge campaign. One, which commander would Icarion try to persuade? Irvin is the Chapter Master and the literal second-in-command of the legion. He's the paragon of the Terran marines and represents the Great Crusade at its earliest glory. Pyrrhicles is Alexandros' Equerry and one of Alex's closest friends. As head of the Myrmidon, he embodies the Warden ideal of Humanity's shield.

Also, the general composition of the Warden fleet. The Warden legion is divided into cohorts. The 1st cohort is home to the Myrmidon and the Order of the Shield. 2nd cohort is where the tank specialists are, while the 3rd cohort is the psyker division of sorts. Knowing this, which cohort does Icarion focus his persuasion efforts?

I don't want to leave your legion without Irvin, this early in the war.

So, I'd go with Pyrrhicles. In a way it makes sense, if Icarion could peacefully convince Alex's closest friend in the ranks of the Wardens alongside the elite of his legion, it would go a long way towards potentially bringing Alexandros into the fold without bloodshed. Obviously he fails, but without knowing the endeavor was destined to fail, I think Icarion would Maneuver Pyrrhicles and a large portion of 1st cohort (where your legion veterans are located?) into a position where they could be approached.

How does that reasoning sound?

Sounds perfect. Yes, the 1st cohort has perhaps the largest share of veterans. When Icarion destroys this fleet, he cripples both the Order of the Shield and deals a hammer blow to the Wardens' ability to defend the Imperium.

This also gives me room to create a Warden Insurrectionist leader, who could be a striking contrast between himself and the former Pyrrhicles.

So I have chosen Sigismund as my writer. guess we'll be seeing a Hectarion soon then ;)

I WILL be keeping a eye on this tread though, just to see how things procees, and will still actively help the whole book, I just wont be writing my legion entry etc.

If someone could do recolourings that would be pretty awesome. I've given it a fair go myself and not figured out the way to do it, but I will admit to not being anything an artist. With regards to fleshing out the Grave Stalkers chapter I'm nearly at the 2 page mark (in word at least) but I have around half a dozen more sub-sections that I need to write out. Unfortunately what you guys have seen so far was about 6 months work for me so the writing may take a while. I'll try my best to keep writing it though and not get too sidetracked by other projects (that is proving difficult for me at the moment).

There is no easy way to say this guys. I am taking a step away from the hobby and project (as well as a lot of things). My Dad has suddenly taken a turn for the worse after a 2 year fight with illness. I may browse the forums in an attempt to try and dostract myself, but this is a time I need to focus on looking after my mum and little sisters.

Thank you for your understanding.

Oh my god. Hope all will turn well. Lost my parents a few years ago and I know how painful it is. May all good things are with you. If we could help in fleshing your drowned out. Just say so and I am sure we will be behind it.

Damn luck really.

I'll be praying for you. This project is almost three months old, and I don't see it stopping anytime soon. Take care and know that we'll keep a spot open for you when you're ready to come back.

Cannonverse background has some really nasty stuff there IIRC so story wise it would make sense for Daer'dd and the majority of a legion whom almost never need to work as a whole to be sent there in the first place.

Also I was thinking last night and I think about 60-65,000 Bears dying would be a fair number as the 4th and 6th Grand Wartribes aren't present at all. So that'll be an over 60% casualty rate, plus what's destroyed of the Iron Bears' support forces.

"And thus the step was taken, hesitantly, by those who knew nothing of what would come."

I decided to 'break ground' by starting the file for what will become book one.
