Thanks Hushrong, Psycho and Helter :) first attempts at white and weathering, which I felt came out nicely, thought the weathering kinda covered up the chain on the left knee pad :/

 

So yeah, this'll be my HH WE wip thread, as I work through painting a friends army. Got this assault squad to test schemes and the like. Not sure about the blue helmet, I only realised it was meant to be white after it was too late :/ oh well. I may have this as the sgt, with the others using white helms, and probably a slightly altered legion symbol.

Cheers you three :) I was really going all the way for the weathered and freshly 'busy' marines, as WE just don't seem right for me if they aren't bloody...

 

I have given each one an individual design on the main armor, mainly chains or spikes. However unfortunately, a lot of it is covered by the blood. See if you can spot them ;) And also, I decided for the patterns on the jump packs, each spike would be a year of service in the squad - they have a high turnover rate.
