Welcome to the bits database dedicated to the Blood Angels!

As I'm sure you're all aware, Blood Angels (Chapter and their Successor) players currently live in a time where Games Workshop and Forge World offer a wealth of bits and pieces for that all important conversion and/or kitbash. These can be purchased on their respective websites, popular auction websites or bits resellers.

However, for those who want the cheaper option or who want something more unique, what about the third party sources out there? The list below is for that. Whenever you find something suitable for Faction: Blood Angels please reply below and I'll update the thread (and add it to the Resources Page).

Got it just now for 25€ in an local onlinestore. But it was the last one :tongue.:.

It is a great model. (Hoping for a 30k sanguinus rule release) maybe i´m playing him as cap with blade or as sanguinor. Facing deamons often it will tease my opponent. :biggrin.:

You can see them on my in-progress vets here:

Kromlech's Chainsword/ greatswords are also very brutal and would work well for vets/ Flesh Tearers. Their alternative legionnaire guns are also rather cool. They also do bulk packs of pistols that woild fit those of us hungry for more hand flamers/ inferno pistols. I have a set of the chainswords but I'm yet to find something I want to use them on :)

Kromlech has very similar, very cheap 5x packs for grav pistols, gravguns and grav cannons.. At work so can't link, but they certainly deserve being up in the list.

EDIT: Here they are

If we're talking generic stuff then all of Kromlech, Anvil Industry and Spellcrow have much more extensive lists than are already in the OP everything from legs and heads to pretty much the full range of weapons, May as well just link the relevant parts of the websites rather than individual bits.

I've just found these boarding shields on a Shapeways store I bought a set of obscure chapter pads from for my Deathwatch

http://www.shapeways.com/product/K45W7PBYD/10x-blank-marine-boarding-shield-1?li=shop-results&optionId=59328407

You can also get them with hands attached and there's a range of legion/chapter specific designs. No BA ones yet, but watch this space as the creator seems to be adding a lot of stuff lately.

It's worth checking out the shop as there's a shed load of cool generic pads as well as BA specific ones in most marks and ones for BA successors like Flesh Tearers, Blood Drinkers and Carmine Blades.

I picked up some Carmine Blades Shoulders just a week ago before this post. They should be in the mail tomorrow, if not Monday. I'll take some pictures and show the quality!

They do look nice, Is it just me or is the shape of the pad slightly different than MKVII pads? I think the sides of GW pads are not parallel (or at least the parallel part is much shorter).

They appear to more closely match the size and shape of the second edition shoulderpads.

I can get a side by side comparison in a moment. They are almost the exact same size as the normal plain shoulder. I think it turned out nice, I've heard of some people slapping a bit of 'ardcoat over them before priming though, because of some of the ridges from the 3D printing machine. I did not because it looked fine to me, and the results are as you see.
