Words as intended vs. words as written.

Scale, proportion and size can be used interchangeably given the subject. I established I was talking about scale which can includes both size and proportion. I then used size and proportions as properties of my subject "scale". Size as a synonym for scale can be used because English allows you to do that. So you should be picking up on that based on the context clues of previous establishing sentences. I did nothing linguistically wrong here.

Regardless, my goal was to establish that having handled the figures in person the scale Tortuga bay uses isn't close to the same as initial first born plastic. They are bigger and bulkier noticeably from GW plastics and are more akin to primaris in size. This includes both size and proportion albeit maybe slightly bulkier depending on armor mark.

TL:DR

Size wise they are taller: closer to Primaris
Proportion wise they are much thicker and bulky.

Whether or not you like it is subjective and you're entitled to not like them. I just wanted to provide more context for those who may be considering buying from them.

Okay well continuing to talk Tortuga Bay, they've just dropped some more models, this time all centred around the Angels Tears.

First up, bodies

If you didn't like the Sang Guard you won't like these I'm sure.

Secondly, heads

Bit more riveted than the FW ones but I like them.

yeah i feel like those are pushing the limits a bit lol. They're honestly better than the sanguinary guard ones.

Those helmets look better than the official Angels Tears ones. I like that they have a visible eye lense unlike the Forgeworld ones.

Okay, Another Week, Another Tortuga Bay release:

First off the bat, Some very familiar looking 40k versions of the Sanguinary Guard, as opposed to the earlier bodies that were intended for 30k. These really feel like the'yre pushing it as much as the Angels tears tbh. i do like them however.

And now some much, much better Sanguinary Guard jump packs. I like the rivets on the wings and the chapter symbol should be easy enough to shave off for those who don't want it.

As an added bonus, the connection point on these looks a lot better than the old plastic ones.

Good call on that. I just went in and got the elite pack. Have several bits there that I am excited for.
