m0nolith
Awesome work. bro! They look fantastic :tu:As always, thank you good sir :) Aye, they look good! Almost a bit too clean though. Perhaps you could look into adding some weathering powder to the models' feet and lower legs? That’s a fair criticism. I actually did try it out on a earlier model, but to me it didn’t look right so I decided to go without it. Granted, this is a very subjective sort of thing. Good job. Thanks dude :D Beautiful work! Do you mind if I ask where you got those decals from? Thanks. It’s the Blood Angel Legion Transfer from Forge World. m0nolith
Just played a small game in a Campaign against the Word Bearers. Good day for the Blood Angels, ended up wiping out the Word Bearers to a man. Dual inferno Moritats usually don't make their points back given their very short range, but every once in a while they end up doing great. This game he single handedly took out two Contemptors. Friend of mine took the photo, and since I never put up a picture of my force, so here it is. Right now I'm doing a Spartan commission that's in Word Bearers colours. When that's done, I'm going to do a Spartan for my BA, and I'm going to try to do it the way its depicted in HH Book 6. noigrim, Gang Zu, Dosjetka and 12 others 15 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/323320-m0noliths-wip/page/10/#findComment-5132727 Share on other sites

m0nolith
That Spartan looks awesome, such a fantastic paint job. All the writing is a particularly nice touch. Thank you. The rest of the army is on urban bases so I figured some urban dust here and there would help stay with the theme. Excellent work! Did you paint that Spartan for your buddy (or customer?) that you painted the other Word Bearers for? Thanks. Yeah, same client :) The Spartan looks brilliant, all the text and geometrics look great. Shovellovin
Excellent work. I really enjoy the reds you use for the Blood Angels and Word Bearers. Plus, your models have just the right amount of battle damage. Can't have the sons of Sanguinius looking too grungy! Scale 75 (Scalecolour) Dwarven Gold highlighted with Stormhost Silver, with a little bit of rust pigments around the edges where it meets the black colours, Nulin Oil around the edges, Seriously tho, I cant recommend Scale 75 golds enough, hands down the best golds I'v used.
