TY everyone for the kind comments :biggrin.:

So I had 4 of the older resin MKIII Legionaries, almost finished save the bases, guns, and varnish.

They didn't exactly fit well with the newer plastic MKIII which IMO are far better than the resin ones. I was actually talking about giving them away or seeing if I can sell them on Ebay.

In the end I decided to use them as a unit I can practice some painting techniques on.

I'm thinking about using them as Machine Killer Vets since I have some unpainted combi-meltas laying about.

I painted up a Sergeant for the squad. He still requires some work with weathering and basing, and I gave him a bolter from another squad just to see what he'll look like when he's done

I generally don't like exposed heads, but I think it works for this him.

Hopefully I can finish the unit by the end of next week.

Amazing. Any chance of the Recipe for the Blonde Hair?

Sure thing.

-Base it with Zandri Dust,

-Give it a one over with Seraphim Sephia,

-Another coat of Zandri Dust, not going into the crevices.

-Highlight with Ushabti bone

-Highlight with Pallid Wych Felsh

And not for something completely different: A Redemptor Dreadnought

I'm not starting a BA Primaris force or anything like that. I wanted to try out some other techniques with red. Something with cooler colors and shading.

This is more of a "for fun" type project.

When I'm done, I plan on selling him.
