Nice work!

that Sgt is hella cool :cool.: shapeway pad ?!... i'm going to wait till the decals come out in the sprue pack (fingers crossed)

Cheers, Mithril

++EDIT++ Russ grey is my vote ..

No I believe its a Mk4 FW shoulder pad looks pretty close to the Mk10 one :D

Hopefully the new upgrade sprue gives us more Mk8/10 ones because the shapeways ones aren't what they used to be now GW got wind of them... :(

SCV I think I'm starting to develop a twitch from it

I'm managing 1 an evening still...

3 down 2 to go then a few final details :D

Might do the anniversary LT next :tu:

Hopefully my warsuits show up in the next day or two

Finished! :D

Next up LT hopefully hell be a bit quicker

Unfortunately Mithril that Sgt is way down the list I don't have any lists with intercessors in atm...

I am contemplating a heavy firepower one he could feature in that one?

You've got way more patience than me for edge highlighting!

Those Reivers are great, and that's a good start on the Lt. I've just finished mine and he was a joy to paint. Actually, I've found all the Primaris I've done so far very satisfying.

Finished my first warsuit :D

Already a good chunk through my second too :)

Thanks to seridales advice and the struggle of my friend trying to do it an alternate way was able to easily magnetise the arms. Might even use the same method on my 2nd redemptor. Here's a quick break down of how I did it.

The one thing which a picture couldn't show was that I used the original hollow pins as a guide to drill a pilot hole before shaving them off (which is what the first pic is) from there it's just placing magnets.

I used 3mm magnets which required the gun slots to be slightly drilled out the next sized down in imperial might have fit without drilling

Yup put a magnet in both sides of the weapon and then assemble the weapons per the instructions

(I waited a little bit to make sure the super glue was set so the magnets didn't pull each other out of their sockets)

The mounting pin slots in and out of the weapons without any obstruction

So the only clipping that is required is the pivots on the larger pin

Man I hate the stubbers. Give me good old Stormbolters on Marine vehicles anyday.

I'd rather have a pintle-mounted heavy bolter, which easily matches a heavy stubber's range, while sharing ammunition commonality with other weapons in a Chapter's armory.

I'm indifferent on the stubbers rule wise storm bolters would have been nice but I don't mind the aesthetic

Finished my second warsuit last night :D

Pre orders for our goodies today too! :)

The pistol hand is already monopose and you just attach it to the bolter body (otherwise there just a pistol grip that goes on)

If you want the empty hand there's 4 fingers that you can pose although it's a bit of a pain because the contact points aren't the greatest

Model is fun to build but has a lot of components

Slightly distracted by some non RG stuff this weekend (might share later what it is...) however back on the bandwagon now! Just highlights and details left to go! Need to break out my airbrush soon.. Eliminators after this

All my officers wear white arms of the 1st company

Perhaps this LT also crossed the rubicon with Shrike?

Thx the white is slightly chalky but not too bad and possibly because of the white scar dry brush I attempted. Celestial grey + ulthuan grey ftw! Next time I should just spot wash then do all of the white...

The base is temporary while I paint it. It will eventually be a resin one... ;)

The skin tone is spot on, good job!

Thanks! I've been toying around with the recipe of late

I can't remember what the formula was for my Reivers though... :ermm:

This was 2 parts ulthuan 1 part pallid Wych flesh and then washed with a almost 1:1 drakenhof and flesh tone with some medium in there too

Could possibly add a bit more blue to the wash

I think this skin tone would work better when it's not right next to white
