Well that didn't take me too long!

There's a lot more I'd quite like to do with these models. Different coloured palms and belly areas, much brighter feathers and maybe embellish the jewellery some more. But that will have to wait for the squad champion (?) before I try it. I have to remind myself that these models are just the rank and file (thanks Atia!) and I shouldn't go overboard!

He looks good, but I always think for Tzeentch demons a single colour is a little monotone.

Well, I see pink, blue and gold. Now that blue and yellow horrors are back, I think he should stick to "pink" as main colour (like he did), atleast for the horrors :smile.:

I agree with both of you really.

If I I was just painting the odd one or two because they are awesome, I'd try to go to town on them. I'd like to have some blended colours in there and all that jazz. But as Atia says I will have a mountain of these lil buggers to paint over the coming months, not to mention the Thousand Sons (which are the focus of the project). So yeah. I have my work cut out for me!

Flamers. Screamers. Magnus. The Changeling (advertisement: I just finished mine with a blue/purple blend :tongue.:). New Lord of Change 2017. Trust me, you will have enough stuff for cool blends

Atia, on the one hand you remain your normal awesome self, but on the other hand I wish Tzeentch would intervene and blind me to the sheer volume of things you just mentioned :P

If a Lord of Change comes out before I have finished the 1000 Sons, I am going to lose my mind! :O

I love this clean, crisp style. Totally digging the detail on the beak, too. Just goes to show there is no substitute for a well executed model, even if it is a common trooper.

looks good, I've got a part finished unit that needs some attention and wanted to try out painting with just washes and glazes for quick results. Didn't go so well and ended up dry brushing. Need to pick the detail out now. I think demons are definitely a way to expand your toolbox of quicker techniques that allow for the colour variation and speed.
Though if you manage whole units this way it'll look awesome.

Ahriman looks awesome as always, looking forward to seeing you tackle his 40k persona as well as the big guy. Horror is looking great as well.

I've always been very dismissive of the Thousand Sons but seeing the GW how to paint vid on the new Rubric marines gets me a little excited, they are stunning models.

Ta chaps! :D

I adore the Thousand Sons background and fluff, so I am super excited about it!

I can't wait to blog what I get up to. The Horrors are officially on hold, because I will be painting Magnus as soon as I get my warp tainted hands on him!

And chances are I will try a few things with the horrors when I paint them, but given how many of them I will need to do, I doubt they will get done any time soon! :D
