So why did I decide to start converting up Deathwatch when I opened the box?

Mk3 makes much better DW Angry Marines (I'll gs the forearms to be mk3) ...

And other marines happened ...

Managed to get the conversion finished on Ahriman. Went with a running lion icon, not sure why but it fits with the theme.

Don't think it's a cannon Chapter symbol so any ideas on Chapter names?

Nice work on Ahriman, good to see that making him more generic is feasible as I'd hoped to use him as the basis for a Chief Librarian conversion.

So here's another small contribution: First up, two more World Eaters based on the new Burning of Prospero parts:

The first guy is a fairly straightforward Mk. III Marine, save for the torso piece and some serious reposing of the left arm:

30k-world-eaters-in-mk-iii-armour-wip-1.

30k-world-eaters-in-mk-iii-armour-wip-2.

The second model mixes an Mk. III torso with Mk. IV legs and some ancient Khorne berzerker arms -- they may be clunky as hell, but they somehow work here, if you ask me, creating a massive, brutal and somewhat archaic look:

30k-world-eaters-in-mk-iii-armour-wip-4.

30k-world-eaters-in-mk-iii-armour-wip-5.

I have also started playing around with the Sisters of Silence: I basically wanted to see how the new "official" models compare to my older, kitbashed Sisters and whether or not bitz from the new models might be used to bring my older attempts up to speed:

On the right is one of the new GW Sisters of Silence. On the left is the squad leader for my kitbashed Sisters (I am still really happy with her, so she'll stay that way). Now the model in the middle is another one of my kitbashed Sisters, but this time, I used some leftover parts from the new kit (a shoulder pad and a head, to be precise), to create a sort of "missing link" between the two designs, and I rather like the result:

Wonderful models. I can see the motion in them. One question: where did you get the hands from the stormcaller terminator?

This guy right here just radiates authority

Nothing more then standing their with a weapon in one hand and powering up in the other

But the authority he radiates is so much

Yup, they're from the Wulfen kit. I think they make wonderful gnarled hands for mages/sorcerer/psychers. You may want to clip the nails though msn-wink.gif

@quinnwolf: the spikes are from Blood and Skull Industry. I question my sanity when I was adding them to the Boarding Shields, however... it was rough. Unfortunately, they didn't really go on as uniform as I was hoping, but what are you gonna do? I wanted my Word Bearers Breachers to look BROOTUHL METUHL, so I hope it worked. I do highly recommend B&SI bits, though... top notch. I've purchased tank treads from him prior as well.
