Just made an autocannon using the imperial knight Icarus. I feel so accomplished!

There's always been some nice legionary to pick it up for me.

So I ordered some boarding shields from Pop Goes the Monkey. The detail is great but the mounting is difficult without the shoulder pauldron interfering. But after trial and error I came to this solution:

 

 

Cut the wrist mount at an angle.

Nice! I did it the other way around and angled the arm. I'll try your way on the next batch.

My next test is carving up the hand attached to the shield and turning it into an arm mount. That way my marines wont be breaking their wrists.

I was not happy with my sister of silence test model. So I'm still playing around with some ideas. This Frostborn maiden is an old kit-bash. Updated a little to test using a Sisters of Silence bit. My Frostborn Maidens/Shield Maiden/Valkyries are my custom thunderwolves cavalry riders (seen in my WIP/PIP Space Wolves page).

Cracking work all around gents

I hate to ask such a basic question but has anybody had a go at using the V2 resin heavy weapons on the Mk 3 bodies? I've got 10 Ryaza pattern Lascannons but only 6 Mk 4 bodies. I was wondering if they fit the MK 3 bodies ok? FW only shows plastic MK 4 holding them.

Only just found this thread, so many great conversions here. The BoP box has seriously been a game changer for me with regards to the ease of true-scaling minis. The minimal GS work required has really made me want to start true-scaling everything . Here's two conversions I've done of a Blackshield and an Iron Warrior:
