A truly spectacular thread! I love how you use all of those World Eaters bitz for your Carcharodons, yet make them look completely at home in a "loyalist" chapter! The freehands are quite wonderful as well!

 

That Raven Guard Moritat, though? That's easily one of the most impressive models I have seen on this forum so far -- a work of art. And  I don't even like the Raven Guard, for crying out loud ;)

I've seen your work many times on the Internet, and I even found and bookmarked your blog that I think is in French. But now everything is here in one thread, in English? JAWESOME.

I'm not usually a fan of widespread and obvious tribal tattoos on the Raven Guard and their successors :tongue.: . Your work has certainly made me reconsider my opinion mate, very impressive.

Captain : Seynivarian N'kaal "the scaly-one"

 

Seynivarian was a terran born Night lords from the early VIII Legion.

Acceding the capitaine rank a few year before the Legion was reunited with the Primarch he was rapidly known for being more a tactician than a murderer and get noticed for this skills in matter of unusual warfare. He and his Company get to be assigned along with the Alpha legion on many theater and it get to influence even more is way of bringing fear and chaos to a foe. This earn him the name of "scaly-one" within the Legion and is compagnie is one of the most secretives of the Night lords.

Oh  COME! ON...!

 

While browsing this thread, that one-hit Skee-Lo song was running  through my head, only with the punch line "I wish I was a better painter`. Dude this army is fantastic. The freehand, the weathering, the painting. The poses and the conversions. Everything just jives. Consider yourself subbed. This is my new favourite thread.

This. And made from the Imperial Space marine, for crying out loud. *throws down conversion tools*

 

EDIT: spelling was horrendous due to my eyeballs having popped out due to the awesomeness of the mini's in this thread. :furious:

I´ve seen the Imp Space Marine on facebook before. I think my opinion was "the most original use of the model I´ve seen so far" and I think that is stil the case. :)

 

For not being a fan of both Space Sharks (Everyone forge world favourite, a little boring background, a little too similiar to their collegues of the Minotaurs for me (considering background)) and tribal, I think they still look very good and original. Feathers are ok for me, they fit the theme, black feathers aren´t tzeentchy at least to me.

The similiar patterns on the raven Guard Moritat are a nice connection, so you see the (possible) ancestry. :teehee:

 

Regarding the Night Lord: Cool diorama so far, what´s the story, has he beaten the imp fist to exhaustion or is he using some nasty psychic power on him?

Isn´t really that clear to me, but it looks like an even and epic fight. :)

Is that an Warhammer Fantasy Vampire sword he is holding? Very fitting for a Night Lord. :yes:

This has quickly turned from a gold mine of inspiration to a death sentence for my hopes of not starting any more armys until the two I've just started are finished :D Whats your secret? are you a robot? or are you a witch? your work is to awesome to have been done by a mere mortal.

My lord.. I WANTED to start an heresy alpha legion.. Now I want blackshields painted as carcharodons..

Really impressive, you manage to give life to those box shaped vehicles without actually converting them... Amazing!

Thank man ! You are right the Hand with the blade came from the Vampire lord on Zombie-Dragon and I just cut the blade to replace it with a blood Angel sanguinary guard. ^^

Damn! I can't believe I haven't commented on this thread before. Needless to say I'm a big fan of your work, particularly the detail work on the Cacharadons. Mind-blowing stuff!

 

Also, amazing work on Curze. I especially love the paint job on the skin cloak. Very nice :tu:
