Then we go for another Carcharodon project. Wanted to make a Forge lord for my 8th company and Ma'o Toa "the Hammerhead" is born

But it's not enough.. As you know Carcharodon are one of the best at recycling looted equipment and Ma'o Toa is a king at this game.. He never show up on the battlefield without is favourite looted treasure :

The Raven Guard tacticals look great and your paintjob is seamless as usual, but I still think that the bases are a bit plain, specially considering how cool are the ones of your Carcharodons.

Also Ma'o Toa is amazing, the helmet mask is specially badass! Can't wait to see the automata painted.

That Forgelord is amazing: A fantastic conversion (where's that clawed hand from, by the way -- it seems familiar, but I cannot quite place it), and a brilliant paintjob to boot! The only thing I am not 100% sold on is that strange Landspeeder antenna bit -- I think something more arcane would work even better with the rest of the model.

But this guy is lovely. Thumbs up! :)

Claw (and sword) are from the Carnosaur kit. Had me fooled for a few seconds too.

Holy crap man, that Forgelord is looking goooood. A brilliant conversion - with a very original paint job to boot. The way the mechanicum red integrates with the charcharodon's grey and tribals is seamless. I will echo Kraut about the antenna, but that's a minor thing.

Thanks man ! You're a reference when it came to conversion so your opinion on the antenna will count double ^^ (2 so far*)

The raven guard are looking great, but the forge lord is seriously brilliant work. Looking forward to the looted automata!

Thanks ! it will come soon : )

HAhA ! Thanks a lot !

Love you painting. Especially that glow effect on the ravenguard.

Thank you Steamius, I've put a lot of time in thoses ^^

For the antenna things now that you say it, it seems a little bit off yeah maybe a thinner one would be good ? Or just rip it off the model and not replacing it ?

Well Thanks you for your advices ;)

In the meantime here is a start on "Da Looted Beast" aka "Gro0t"

I think replacing the antenna with something like the antenna bit from the Skitarii Vanguard/Rangers might look great -- but only if you want to. It already is a fantastic model, after all!

Those decorations work so well on that Iron Circle model -- it's Heresy, of course, but lovely to look at ;)

You could clip off the antenna rightabove the first bit that attached to the armour - right where it gets thinner. Drill a 1mm hole in what's left and stick in a straight piece of paperclip that is sanded smooth at the top. That's what I do with my antennas and it yields a very convincing (imo) and most of all sturdy antenna, that will last.

Tao is awesome. Love the paint job on the helm.

Groot is also great. This may be blasphemous for me as I love Iron Warriors but it's nice to see that Iron Circle in something other than metallic. The freehand tribal markings are still fantastic.
