Nop ^^.. The one who had beaten up an imperial fist, post #30.

I gave him extra ornemental wings on is backpack and his book the "tenebrous path" is also there as an ornement. He had cast away is bolter for the fight. In the ADB book he is describe as beating three captain on the Terra siege (his dreadnought coffin is adorn with this scene)

I've represente my vision of this scene in particular the Imperial fist part. The two other captains (BA and WS) are diying bodys on the full diorama.

Ah okay. Yes, I remember that. I think he was my favourite character in the books.

Any chance of doing him as as (venerable) dread as well?

Or another diorama having that epic fist fight with that blood angel dreadnought (former captain he killed) maybe? :biggrin.::tongue.:

Yeah me too Malcharion is awesome !

Maybe one day I'll make him in dread version, but I've a lot to do before that ^^

Impressive work on the Night Lord. Normally, I'd argue about that glaive's practicality- it looks like he may injure HIMSELF whenever he wields the weapon- but I doubt a Chaos Space Marine is concerned about practicality.

Such amazing work.  I am starting to feel motivation to get back to finishing my own armies.  The bar seems to keep being raised for Carcharodon models.  Any advice on how you are doing the tribal patterns?  I sometimes just blank on how to make the patterns look right.

that is an epic return man!!
Only thing is... the shark tooth banner might hinder that door from dropping;)

A little voice said the same things when I was creating this banner ..

Me : "Dude your are blocking the door with this stupid necklace"

Other Me : "Don't bother me you idiot ! This Spartan as 10000 years old and shark are careless, the doors is certainly not functioning anyway.. beside Shark tooth's necklace are cool"

Me : "OK you win.." 

 

Such amazing work.  I am starting to feel motivation to get back to finishing my own armies.  The bar seems to keep being raised for Carcharodon models.  Any advice on how you are doing the tribal patterns?  I sometimes just blank on how to make the patterns look right.

 

Hehe ! Nice if I've inspired you ;) For the tribal pattern I can go for a tutorial if you are interested

Space Sharks do not exit through the escape hatches, they go through the assault ramp. (Yes, I know that the side doors can be used for assaulting as well)

 

Seriously though, I am amazed. All that OSL and weathering, not to mention the free-hand look awesome.

Ah, Malcharion! I've located you on here now as well! My brother in the void, your models and MacNiven's boom were what inspired me to pick up where i left off with my Carcharadons. You after all gave me a tutorial on exile markings! Your work here is lovely. I'm absolutely in love with your depiction of Kaedes Nex, and your Night Lords are all spectacular.

 

As for the Carcharadons... well, it goes without saying that I adore them doesn't it ;)

On a more serious not: I do like your style a lot, but did you sometimes think of give them the skin sometimes a little reddish appear, to show the blood beneath

all those pale guys skin?

I'm not sure whether or not I should love you or hate you for making that Spartan. All I can say is that thing looks sick. Like all your Charcharodon stuff, it exudes brutality.

For the brutality I'm happy to hear it because I wanted it to be the first thing that we have in mind seeing my army ^^

 

Amazing work, saw your models on the GW sites.

I cannot even begin to imagine how such stunning work is possible and just when I was content that I got the hang of highlighting my models :biggrin.:

Man your Charcharodon work is brilliant but your Night Lords! I'm lost for words on how brutal they are, I LOVE the Apothecary/Butcher! Excellent work brother

Haha ! That's my favourite model as well ^^. But the Night lords were my first full painted army and when I see theme beside my Sharks I realise that I've improve myself a little between and that make me fall for the fishy side of the force... I'll have to do some more lightning bolt to balance that ^^.. But again caught between Nemac's NL and Augustus's my NL feel a little over-dated ^^

Haha ! I've no issue.. Or maybe that's because I'm a black man IRL and I'm looking for some "Fantasy" in game :tongue.:.

No seriously  It appears (sadly ?) that all the armies that I love either for the lore or for the armour colours are extra pale guys I would have made some World eater with a lot of different skin tones but I prefer Night lords for the traitors and Raven guards are my favourite loyalists. (I also play the Knight House Orhlacc.. yeah I'm a lost cause)

So no You'll not see other skin tones on those armies beside Commander Soukhounou page n°1, post 11 :wink:

I'm a Lore fan before all.

But I'm working on some Dark angels for a friends and those will certainly make me return to more traditional skin colours.
