Malcharion your work is simply stunning.

 

I will definitely be looking forward to what else you paint in the future.

Dreadnought surfing contemptor! I like the pose, though the paint seems oddly thick to me compared to all your other models? Is it just the lighting?

 

Your face detail is fantastic.

Yeah kind of the first contemptor I've paint so the level is not quite the same as now ^^", I think the lightning was not the best part of my skill and it's style not but hope I'll improve myself in this area ^^. Thanks !

 

I can't help but feel like you've drawn inspiration for your names from Maori culture. Haha. In my native tongue, Maori, kahurangi means blue. :smile.:

Haha I do ! But for my own characters, like the Oromatua (based on the Khârn model, you can find his background on my first post in spoiler) Usualy I used Latin shark names for insparation :wink:. Te Kahurangi is a black library character created by Robbie Maccniven in the book Red tithe. Like I love this book I've made a model of it. But thanks you've just learn me something haha ! ^^.

Once again I see your progress and cannot get over how amazing it all looks. I hope I can do my own sharks similar justice! Nearly finished my 30k Iron Warriors so soon I'll start painting sharks. I like coming back to your thread here for inspiration and ideas. :happy.:
