He came from the shadows almost like He was made of them. Eyes glowing like the pits of hell his every movement radiated malice. Step by step he closed on the soldiers ranged against him. They thought since they were thirty strong they stood a chance. The first soldier fired his autogun when the legionaire was about fifty feet from them. The legionaire looked down as the solid slug harmlessly glanced off his war plate. In an instant faster than any being that size had any rite to be he outstretched an arm and something flew from his open hand, a silver blur closed the gap between the legionaire and the soldier who'd taken the shot. With a wet thunk a half metre long polished steel combat blade was embedded in the soldiers skull all the way to the hilt. Before the other soldiers had time to panic the shooting started, in one hand the legionaire had drawn a bolt pistol and in the other a battered looking volkite serpenta. He alternated hands picking his targets, Each bark from the bolt pistol was answered with an explosion of blood, bone, and viscera. Each choom of the Serpenta was followed by the flare of a body turning to ash. In less than ten seconds there was only one human remaining cowering in puddle of his comrades blood and his own urine. With one hand the legionaire picked the man up by the throat and pulled him off the ground holding the man up to his helmet lenses. The legionaire growled " Tell your commanders your comrades tell anyone who will listen. Tell them death has come for this world." With his free hand the legionaire drew a small blade from his belt and carved the low gothic numeral for the number eight into the man's forehead. And like he was a piece of trash the legionaire tossed the soldier to the ground and disappeared back into the shadows.

-Gor VÄlex

In most legions moritats are dark individuals usually kept at arms length by there brothers as is the nature of there position and duties. But even in a legion of murderers and psychopaths VÄlex stood apart. Having killed dismembered and eaten more than 37 people including his parents by the age of 13. Like many of his Nostaman brothers VÄlex took to murder like a fish to water or a bird takes to the sky. After only a decade he had managed to kill his way to the top of the ranks of 313 Claw however due to his paranoia that one of his subordinates would attempt the same, VÄlex developed a nasty habit of killing any legionaire he deemed overly ambitious in an attempt to secure his rank. After killing over 142 fellow legionaires he earned the direct censure of the Nite Haunter who tortured VÄlex personally for 3 months. VÄlex was beaten, burned, drowned, electrocuted, stabbed, shot, and finally skinned. After he was satisfied with his punishment VÄlex was released back into the legion and given the rank of moritat and told by Kurze that he would be allowed to continue killing for the legion, until the Night Haunter got sick of him then he would return to finish the task he had started.

I've been thinking about starting a thread for a while to keep a log of the various random characters I decide to build. So that's what this thread shall be my plan is to have this be where I post finished models and fluff since I already have a WIP thread. So what to expect ? The unexpected mainly... Like I said it'll probably be a very very random mix of characters both from the HH novels and from the labyrinthine depths of my own imagination I'm also open to any suggestions the only stipulation being they're from the 30k era so pre heresy - siege of terra. Anywho thanks for checking out my work I'd love to hear your thoughts any C&C is always greatly appreciated.

Because of the space wolves role as "watch dogs" for the Emperor every legion had a contingent of wolves that was sent by sigilite himself to keep watch over there brothers. Some legions looked down on and distrusted the sons of Fenris given this task. The Salamanders were not such a legion. Captain Ivan Günderson was the pack Alpha of Fenrisian forces on Nocturne. Unlike the Watch Packs in other legions Günderson and his brothers were accepted by the XVIIIth like the cousins they were. Günderson made many lasting bonds with warriors he now considered his brothers. One such warrior was Nēro Tyranus a line captain and expert close quarters fighter specializing in ship boarding and zone mortallis actions. The two would duel in the sparing cages for hours on end sharing with each other there unique fighting styles. The pair became so close many joked about the company led by the green wolf and the grey drake. But the joking ceased when the pair was seen in combat, Only true brothers could make war so completely in sync with one another. When the Dragon and the Wolf went to war the enemys of the Emperor truly had something to fear. At the inception of the Ash Vipers after the Istvaan atrocities it was no wonder Günderson wasted little time in swearing his blade and those of his brothers to the command of Tyranus.

Günderson has unspokenly become the leader of not only his wolves but all the non XVIIIth legion forces attached to the Ash Vipers. Earning the position amongst his peers after proving his ferocity and skill In combat time and again. in combat Günderson can always be found where the fighting is the thickest preferring to use his bolter on enemies who flee from a fight. Up close and In the thick of things he turns into a whirlwind of death the master crafted frost claw

named "Sagas End" cutting down all who stand before him. Alongside the rest of the Ash Vipers Günderson has earned a reputation as a slayer of champions seeking out enemy commanders and former rivals whenever he gets the chance. Günderson has become particularly fond of killing Emperors Children after witnessing what they'd become on Istvaan V and in recent engagements.

I'm gonna try to post here more frequently Ive just been a weeeee bit preoccupied with RL and such but I've been working on several other characters both cannon and of my own creation so there's more to come I'm also open to any suggestions from any legion loyalist or traitor :D thanks for checking out my work I'd love to hear your thoughts.
