WarriorFish
In case you missed it, FAQs have been released! The Guard one appears to be mostly new stuff, I don't remember it being quite that sparse before? Anyway, while it mostly covers the strange (no, a unit doesn't have a rule it doesn't have) and that which we've already deduced ourselves the writing in black magenta and white is good to have. Key points/clarifications: No priests etc can be added to formations Heavy does not overrule Ordnance Steel Host formation tank commander is the full unit, so that's 2-3 tanks in a squadron Not much to write home about really, but resolutions are always better than none should there be any debate. WarriorFish
They had them from the last FAQ though, so it's not news :P Oh well, we can always spin it that this means we're getting an update sooner right? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/330081-new-faqs-out/#findComment-4629443 Share on other sites
duz_
Yeh nothing special here At least we got clarity on the priests. No mention of Commissars though which doesnt help in that regard. On the upside space marines can no longer upgrade their captians to chapter masters in their formations too. Which aligns with the Pask ruling Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/330081-new-faqs-out/#findComment-4629734 Share on other sites
KasrkinRyu
The Aeronautica Imperialis formation has been updated so Astra Militarum, Militarum Tempestus and Inquisitions can be "Transported as if they were in the same faction". This means access to Officer of the Fleet for Scions and Inquisition. That is kind of what I was hoping for all along...too many updates recently, my head hurts haha Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/330081-new-faqs-out/#findComment-4629826 Share on other sites

Emicus
Lasgun-array has 45' each, there is two arrays. Each separate lasgun that is part of the array doesn't matter :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/330081-new-faqs-out/#findComment-4639133 Share on other sites
WarriorFish
So given that they have some width to them that's not a bad arc. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/330081-new-faqs-out/#findComment-4639143 Share on other sites
Kuro_Ryu
Where do you measure that arc from? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/330081-new-faqs-out/#findComment-4646418 Share on other sites

Otto von Bludd
They could have a 720 degree firing arc and they would still be useless to me as I always forget to shoot them. WarriorFish
I've got some bad news Otto... it's not that lasgun arrays that are useless in this case  I like to leave a trooper or two on a transport, aside from denoting which squad is aboard it helps me remember to do things with them :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/330081-new-faqs-out/#findComment-4647136 Share on other sites
