Black Templars are looking good. Those third party bits look appropriate for them with the robes. Every bit of power armored warrior monk is shown off there. Plus, they aren't covered in layers like the Dark Angels who raided joann fabrics.

Want a laugh? Iirc, those Kromlech bodies are intended for Dark Angels

I believe they are, theres actuall two sets, these ares "tabards" they also have robes that are DEFINITELY dark angel

Loving the work on your Templars. Looking forward to seeing them completed. The Templars are such a great idea for 40K. I wish GW would support them more, they have the potential to be a very unique force on the tabletop.

Ok are these too grey for World eaters? Obviously I don’t want solid white there’s no depth, what do y’all think?

From what I can see, no, they aren't really grey at all. The white looks good. I had thought it was chalky but looking at 30k Khârn's left leg, I'm guessing that's just white spray that got on his knee pad right?

When you get one of these painted up maybe do a side by side with your earlier work. That would make for a good comparison of the two style under the same lighting and everything.

*EDIT* I answered crappily.

Thanks Mate, I am actually very very happy with these, im glad i brightened them up a bit b/c the oils and pigments definitely bring it all Down.  I am most happy with Khârn glad i took the chance and chopped him up.

Yeah. I really like his reposed legs. I’d love to try that and maybe use one of the character bases, like that IF guy with the shield or Sevatar, with him descending down to take on a challenger. 40k Khârn also looks great in old legion colors. And yeah, the new paint recipe is nice! It really pops on 40k Khârn and it’s super eye catching!

Say what!?!

What are your plans for that trio? I know you were expressing interest in Slaanesh so Eidolon seems to fit that angle. Curious what you’ll be doing with Sev and Alexis.

I was looking at Alexis for a possible Knight Errant using GK rules. Polux and Sigismund seem like great bases to build up some secret warriors.

Well, I wnated to make a suicide squad type kill team for fun made up of Several different legions. This gives me an excuse to paint up some of my fav FW models. Also once EC are released odds are they will be my next main army so it will be good to have Eidolon anyways. Polux will be converted into an IW

Scary fine job there...… Might even make a Ultramarine pee his armour:blush.:

Thank ya much, I am thinking about having some dead UM laying around....

Looking good, that's a very nice shade of red! They've got a very gladitorial feel to them, brutal as hell!

I tried 273278239832789237984328523 different ways to do red and ir turns out the simplest was the easiest.  I really want them to really feel like they're slowly losing their mind. Brutal is what im going for!

Aaaaw laudy, I've always been a big proponent of the XIIth in white and blue, kinda dismissed red as to 40K.  Why must you prove me so very very wrong!  -laughs- seriously mate, the inductii in particular is gorgeous conceptually and executed perfectly.  Absolutely awesome.

As for the white vs. grey, I like the grey.  It compliments the colouration exceptionally well, looks aged but not decrepit, and brings out the rest of the warm tones.  Yep, right choice as far as I'm concerned.

Ahh, that sounds pretty rad. I forgot you wanted to do a mix legion squad. I remember reading that somewhere but I am also old aged so I forget stuff. Looking forward to seeing how your suicide squad turns out! I am also pleased and the proposed heresy of turning plux into an Iron Warrior. Love it!

And my poor EC have been sitting on a shelf. Dying to see when they will get their own codex and if it will be glorious. My guys miss combat drugs and other shenanigans.
