Alright, so I’ve painted up a fair bit of Heresy stuff over the last few years but never actually posted it - time to fix that.

I have a few Primarchs done and over the last 18 months I’ve painted up 2000 points of Night Lords and 2000 points of Iron Warriors based around Betrayal at Calth and Burning of Prospero respectively.

Instead of just photo dumping, I might just drip feed these out.

First up - Angron. First Primarch I painted.

Edit: Thanks to Kizzdougs on the assist with the photos. See below, should have this sorted from now on.:)

Thanks Kizzdougs!

Here’s the first of my Night Lords. Photos are a bit average but I think it shows the metallic blue. Really happy with the result, although they look better in person.

Thanks for looking.

OK, so Fulgrim is up next. I saw somebody paint him with Kohl around the eyes and because I suck at painting eyes, I shamelessly stole the idea. :smile.:

The ultimate goal is to collect the entire Character Series. I don't wanna think about how much money that will cost me and I'm not even close to half way.... :sad.:

Thanks for looking.

And here's the rest of my first unit of Night Lords:

And my first five Iron Warriors:

Took me a lot longer than I'd expected to get a scheme nailed down for these guys. Thankfully, the B&C is not short on great Iron Warriors threads.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks Charlo!

No closeups sorry... I’m overseas for a few months and only have limited photos while my models are in storage.

I might have a closeup of Sevatar though. I’ll get that up soon.

Did the metallic all in GW paints:

Chaos Black undercoat

Leadbelcher basecoat

Airbrush 2 coats of Ironbreaker

Airbrush coat of Drakenhof Nightshade wash

Airbrush 2 coats of Guilliman Blue glaze

Edge highlight with Ironbreaker

Ardcoat

I just used regular paints watered down but when I get home I’m going to give the GW air range a crack. That many layers, it can be easy to lose some detail if you go crazy and I’m hoping the air range will limit that. And do some more WIP stuff hopefully.
