Four words,

Legion  BIG

Of  GUNS

The NEVER

Damned TIRE

That should be all the proof you need in the Emperor's protection.

FTFY Brother. :whistling:

MR.

Till they jam, as seen by your Akkad's own Heavy Bolter...:biggrin.:

That's less faith in the Emperor and more faith in the Mechanicum....

Still I'd trade Artillery for C.A.S. (Close Air Support) any-day...

Edited by Steel Company

Not in foul bloody weather under a jungle canopy you wouldn't, but otherwise yes.

I'll stop now before I get OT.

MR.

One last one...

I used to fly C.A.S. when I served in the Army, I know all about the limitations of what it can and can't do... but that being said Rockets and 30mm don't care about jungle canopy... and the only foul weather that made flight hard for me was a sand storm.

This was the load out I preferred to fly with... Always hated come out to see Rockets on the pylons, meant we were going to pull escort duty...

I flew P.I.C. (Pilot In Command)

And she's a beauty.

(Sighs at the fancy toys) Don't get me started on this. Apparently I rant like a Yorkshireman.

Shame you ain't going to fit her through Blue Team Door eh?

If you ever open it...

Oh and about Cadence - she's a musician.  Occasionally they like to Jam.  :cool.:

Yea... but I'd take her in the cargo bay and put those AGM-114's through the door... and I know her body can resist 27mm fire.

Still I think a flying crate or 'nade at your position might do something to dislodge you before I go storming in there. Besides heavy and basic weapons don't work so well in CQB... and shooting into CQB means you might hit me and hit your team mate...:whistling:

SC:

I believe that with your TB/SB 18 you can easily lift and throw a crate - but I'm a little unsure regarding your opening the door and doing so - how are you going to do it - with the back of your hand? I find it hard to rationalise it in my brain - and especially for you to do all of that in one turn. If you had help (someone else opening the door) or were willing to spend a turn gathering your forces (and allowing the rest of the team to back you up...?)

Otherwise I think you'd be better off throwing the Krak grenades - but you can do as you wish.

CM:

I was planning on waiting for Solastion or Varvost to be in reach of the door switch, stand off to the side and toss the box in, attempting to minimize my exposure to the torrent of fire I know is coming from inside the room. But if I can't wait, I could always use my elbow to push the button. It all depends on what my team mates do when they get to the door... I'm not going in there on my own.

CM and SC

Ill be attempting to get as close to you as I can on my turn and, if possible, make use of my literally off the charts SB/TB of 21 to help you out.

By-the-by, you guys have NO IDEA how hard it is resisting the urge to read to spoilers is.

Thank you for everyone for your discretion!

Steel Company and Slips

Does it not make more sense then for Tyber to open the door and then Slips to throw the crate? You are next to each other in the turn order after all?

In this scenario, yes. Also my SB would probably let me throw it further?

I like this idea better, I'll pop the door, Solastion tosses the box... I just hope it hits with enough force to make Akkad either dodge or disrupt his aim. From there we can dive into CQB with the Devastators quickly, locking them down.

Thinking about using Feat of Strength solo mode ability for giggles to further boost my SB from 10 to 15 (since it makes the unnat trait increase by 1 from 2 -> 3). Thoughts?

Now that is just funny, why not... now CM would just have to figure out how much collision damage that box would do...:laugh.:

Slips and Steel Company: If you can organise your actions and get them online, I can progress the turn.

Mazer: The actions Slips and Steel complete might affect your actions (or give you an option to use a reaction) so I am fine with ignoring your post and giving you a chance to reallocate when it comes to it.

Doing so right now on my end.

Pfff. I never understood why the Imperium raised spires to celebrate the Angel....for rushing in, getting separated from his force and dying alone.

Iron endures!

:laugh.: If only you knew!

Boy the hijinks we're going to get up to when working together...

Appreciate it Mol, will see if AT tries his shot before I resolve.
