This has been a very entertaining read :biggrin.: dying to see you guys get to the planet and interact with the cultists!

That being said, I'm really enjoying playing a young, impulsive somewhat naive Astarties.

Edited my IC Thread Post as before it wasn't very good.

Akkad has long experience with the Mantis Warriors and even speaks some of their language.  Who do you think taught it to him? :wink:

 

But the stance is from a real-world martial art - it's just hard to describe it, but the Mantisae stance was so similar I couldn't help but fold it in.  I am trying to be careful though - there's a borderline between giving the impression of knowing another chapter and some cross-training and making the mistake of being too much like the other chapter people think you want to be them...(I do sometimes)

 

Although I think that's for another campaign. :yes:

I'm not saying FP Rerolling to have a 1 on the Charge roll is pretty sweet. But it is. Hope Thorvald likes (blunt) Chainsword to the head :tongue.:

 

Also, thank you tearing from saving me from 1s to damage rolls.

Adjusted total 34.

 

Make sense?;)

 

Really need to get 400xp to get two weapon fighting melee from my chapter table...

GM:

Thorvald is in Squad Mode still. Spend the 2 Cohesion and activate Chapter Attack Pattern: Tooth and Nail. Might help out with that Mol, otherwise you can let me Parry that blow as a Reaction as I'm only three metres away (if your dodge fails). Your call good sir!

 

Mol your attacks on Varvost don't double his armour as Astartes Unarmed Attacks are not Primitive due to:

 

Unarmed Warrior

Unarmed Master

 

Am I reading right?

The rules for knock-down say that the damage for passing by 2DOS double armour. Is that not correct? 

 

My apologies, you're quite correct - I was looking at it under Unarmed Combat.:facepalm:
