Another great looking Titan Semper. I'm also working on my warhounds at the minute, but it's a good bit less glamorous than your pair. I'm just starting into mold line removal.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Out of curiosity, how do you do your white?

Keep up the good work.

Dallo

how are you so fast?

I mean... it takes me days to get the panel trims painted.

for my warlord it took something like 16 hours.

I guess it helps if you know what you are doing, I still dont! :)

edit: your hounds are gorgeous, one of the reasons I ordered a pair today

Thx guys!

The white? Very complex and ancient technique that involves... are you ready? Ulthuan Grey! And that's it! Maybe highlight it with white - but that's optional! I'm a big fan of simple approach - if it works, stick to it! :D

Hey, it took me three weeks to do the Warlord, had to strip it, and do a number of structural adjustments -but it was also a learning process - a learning process that paid dividends in its smaller cousins! :D

ive been doing warlord for 6 weeks now! still not ready ( well havent done anything for 2 days, lost momentum)

im going to do the rest of them in easier way, no more unneccessary layering, skeletons will be 1 colour and then drybursh instead of 3 +drybrush and maybe skip the gloss varnish step too...

if I have time will do some work tomorrow and saturday, next week I will speed up so I can get Mortis engines ready before Blackstone Fortress drops :)

btw, when is this AT event you hinted a while back?

You folks in the AT sub forum really are enablers, aren't you? :p

  • 2 weeks later...

Thx guys, with AT I heard the calling - had to go into it!

Lovely titans, brother! I think you're doing well with the colour schemes - they look like they should be in a battle report. :tu:

I know, but it takes two to tango! ;) regardless, I’ll keep building up my Maniple and hopefully a game will come my way... :D

oh dragon forge, import taxes and custom duty.... and waiting list... going to be expensive.

edit: but then again, those concrete rubble bases would be perfect, very very tempting :)

Cry Havoc and all that... :p

Nice to see you posting again Semper.

Those Hounds look really good in the group shot. I'm curious how long you spend on each Titan, from start to finish? You seem to be churning them out at a fair rate. Do you have any time saving tips? Or does it just boil down to actually sitting down and doing some hobbying?

As we say back home, keep her lit. :teehee:
