Specialist Games: "1Ksons" and Titans

So.  Specialist games have kinda sucked me in.  Projects that are only a few models equal projects I MIGHT actually complete!

 

I've always loved the 1Ksons, at least ever since I learned of and read the lore potentially connecting them to the Blood Ravens.  So I decided to start off with a Blood Ravens, errr, 1Ksons Kill team... Sorta.

 

Mostly finished color test model.  Could use a bit more highlighting to the red, the packs, and the bolter:

 

 

I downloaded the blood ravens PDF that someone here on the BnC created (I can't remember who) but they are fantastic. I mean... all the shoulder emblems are of course hand painted by me!

Of course I have also always been a fan of

Big. 

Stompy. 

Robots. 

Ever since the original edition of BattleTech.  so, of course I had to start some AT.  I was lucky enough to get my hands on the GM edition of the box.  Here's my initial foray (WiP).

 

Hopefully posting pics will help keep me moving.  Only needing 4 marines and 3-4 scouts will help.
