I remember Garro reporting that weapons would be in the summer. He said FW wanted to build up significant stock before release. I'm hoping that's only referring to a lot of the things they had in CAD at the Weekender, like the Void Missile and WL carapace Gatling Blasters. They did have the Warlord's Quake Cannon and Macro Gatling painted up there... and I don't want to wait until June 

 

The new spire kit, Fureans transfers and more weapon sprues will probably turn up in a release together in one of the next few WDs?

 

 

edit: I'm especially looking forward to the Quake Cannon. It seems like a versatile option and helps keep the cost of the Warlord down, and most importantly it looks like it's going to be an important threat to Warhound squadrons. If a squadron forms up in b2b to share shields and 1 or more lose their shields, a Quake round can start cutting speed and hindering their future mobility or ability to stay in formation. In a good case it could outright break up their formation by pushing them apart, or there's even the rare best case where they start tripping over each other and end up in a hilarious chain reaction collision

I know he can be reliable but didn’t Garro also say the Necromunda/Vraks psyker rerelease was going to be plastic? So it’s possible he’s wrong on the weapons release dates. Plus summer is more than 3 months away so I think we’ll see some soon at least.

I am not 100% on this but the sources are very much conflicted.

 

 

 

Titan crewmen, save for the war machines' attendant Tech-priests, are divided into four ranks. These are, in order of seniority, the Moderatus, the Princeps, the Senior Princeps, and the Titan Legion's Grand Master.

 

Some Legions use different names for these ranks, though none is entitled to change the system itself -- for example, some Titan Legions designate a Senior Princeps as a "High Princeps."

So that makes Princeps Senioris the maniple commander.  However the Titandeath index calls the maniple commanders Princeps Majoris. 

 

So basically 

1) They could mean the same when not presented in the same source

2) When in present in the same source, they could STILL mean the same as long as they refer to different organizations.

3) If they appear within the same source and same organizations - your guess is as good as mine.

It could also depend on the legion in question. Like the Astartes legions use different titles for captain etc.

Yeah, always a possibility. Those events can be a blur and it can be really tough to keep all of the information straight. Sometimes it's easy to mishear or misremember things in the excitement.

 

OR, the specific way a member of staff said something will be reported and get stuck in our collective memory, but that hinges on staffers never making speaking errors either  Which they definitely do...

There was no way that Vraksian Psyker was going to be plastic unless they completely redid the sculptor, which they obviously never did. You cannot use resin moulds for plastic and vice versa.

 

The weapon upgrades will definitely be resin and without any knowledge I'd guess we'll see them within a month or so.

I think the big question on the release date will be how Britexit plays out. Even a few days of no inport/exports from the UK will hit the distribution of product hard. Which has to be looked at as the key part of the whole release cycle. 

 

I think we will see the next book first as the comment on the Community page was 

 

 

In the long run, there are some exciting new kits on the way. With all the plastic Warlord and Reaver weapons soon to be available separately…Forge World is stepping in with a variety of upgrade sets featuring some more esoteric options, like the Mori quake cannon and the warp missile rack:

 

And not a single one of the weapons on the page was more than a CAD image. 

 

I expect we have another month of development, month of production before they start being shipped and the depending on the chaos of bitexit we then have 2 months for the global stocks to be supplied. Thats even presuming that britexit doesnt causes an extended break of in-port/export and GW needs to pirotitise their primary range stocks.

Has anyone from Continental Europe already asked third party retailers what the potential impacts of Brexit would be with regards to pricing and shipping?

Guys, lets leave Brexit out of the discussion as it borders on the political... i know the comments so far are related to the hobby, but it might quickly turn off-topic...

 

Bottom line is that is very difficult to predict the impact as there are quite a lot of moving parts and discussions are still ongoing.

It would not supprise me for us to see the spires the week after shadow spear drops and the week before abadon.

Huh, I'm the other way around, I'm like "where are my Warmongers and Acastus knights and Armigers and yaaarrrr let me spend more money". Really looking forward to some more variation!

I get a feeling the Adepticon preview thing may show off some knights for that very reason. We know we have the have soem other varients to see that we have rules for and it would not surprise me to see that new titan sized one scaled down.

Fureans Transfers is exactely what I needed. I'm gonna order a load of those to get all my Titans sorted out. Reaver sprues are nice to, so I can swap some wepaons and heads on my guys.

Now making a Knight army is another proposition altogether. I totally agree the new book should be supported by new Knight releases... But I'll get that book no matter what - and I don't even intend on doing a Knight army...

They want to remind folk of AT existence, but dont have the time for something of more substance. It has been 3 weeks since the last community post on AT. And there is a regular Specialist game slot on Tuesdays regardless of other items for release, and given we had blood bowl last week and other content on the Ambots yesterday in the slot thats supports the 'coming next week' spot. It makes sense.
