Game against Word Bearers ended up victory for Raven Guard.

Pondering between Command Squad and Contemtor for now - which one to do next...

Its been way to quiet for some time. Been painting alot. To be honest im kind of frustrated / comming up with new units to collect for Raven Guard. Its not that i dont like them - but black is just really frustrating to paint But out of all my projects think this is one that im most happy.

Excellent work on the Contemptor and the Land Raider. Is the raven skull on the Raider meant to ID it as a Chaplain's personal transport?

Had a 30k event last weekend. Really fun. Was running Scout ROW with some heavy support from both planetary orbit, some airforce and sneakybeakyTanks

Its been some time when i last posted anything. Been preparing a lot of new models. Think Raven Guard is going to expand alot during this year.

Command squad Numio is kind of ready. Rather happy with the results. Tiny bit of highlights with few models but otherwise these are fine now.

Some photos of our lates game. Again playing against Markus_ with his NaStY Death Guard. 
Lots of infantry that i cant handle - and it does not really help that half of the troops dont arrive from reserve, 
Still i was winning since game was about Zone control., 2from your own, 5 for no mans land and 7 from your opponent. Was gonna get points from my own end....

BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.... During the game you could call a bombartment. On roll of 1 - enemy gets that.

During last turn this happened.

Assault squad holding my own zone takes 8 wounds, fails their morale and runs away. Ensuring first draw in a loooong loong time.

Raven Guard veterans entering from the left flank. Trying to capture enemy own line. Had to go close to make sure i can charge next turn. 

Random terrain..

Word Bearer Veterans ended up to be quite the chanllenge for Delegatus and his Boyz. 

Rather failed Deep Strike strait to face with Grave Warndens was deadly. Rolling bad on during the enemy charge and Markus rolling 10 inch charges was way to much for them to handle.

Some new stuff. We have a 30k event coming up in Turku and RG needs breachers and attack bikes.

Really how bike tuned out. Probably gonna do more of them.

Solid weathering and dusting there, really integrates the bike into the base. The glowing visor gives a real edge to the marine too.

 

Also impressed by how organised your bits collection is!

Like i Dont have enough heavy support squads. I do prefer playing all inftantry over anything else.
