Doom Eagles 2nd Company

Hey brothers, I've been planning on starting up a space marine project for a while now and have settled on Doom Eagles. I'm focusing on the 2nd company and mostly doing primaris to start. I do plan on branching out to regular marines as well.

Any advice is welcome. I'm waiting on black gothic number decals and I know a few models have ruman numerals on them which is not the Doom Eagle way, that will be fixed when decals come. Also some markings are white and I need to paint them red. Need to paint the base rims black all in due time.

The 2nd company has spent years during the Indomitus Crusade fighting tyranids with their brothers of the Ultramarines so some have tyranic veteran markings. No back ground supporting this but I liked the idea.

Lt of 2nd Company, ruman numerals bother me on him lol. Painting over them tonight. Also i know the helmet stripes are incorrect. My error.

Your Doom Eagles look great! This thread kinda slipped by me, I'm glad that I found it in the end. I'm not a fan of the "Bootleg Mk4" look that Mk10 helmets have, swapping them out for proper Mk4s is a great idea, especially the FW ones. They give the primaris a bit of variation, something that the stock kit definetely lacks.

Thanks brothers, glad you like the small swaps. Wish I got the bits before I built and painted the first intercessors. Will be kitbashing the intercessors and hellblasters to give a varied look in small amounts.

 

Firewalker,Azaiel,Sacrifice thank you. I like the idea of having a deathwatch veteran sprinkled into the collection. Probally 2 or so when its all said and done.

 

Infiltrators and eliminators up soon. Want to work on assault marines too since I have a very good friend who hooked me up with 40 or 60 of the forgeworld Mark 4 pattern ones.

Worked on eliminators and suppressors.

Built vanguard vets but I'm not sure how I feel about the jump packs.

Captain who might get helmet inplace of bare head. Seems small or sits to deep?

Just finished the 2nd company primaris ancient. My buddy painted the main picture on the banner since I'm terrible at freehand. I told him to do whatever he wanted as long as it was Doom Eagle related somehow. Now I need to convince him to draw on my next repulsor or something lol.
