If you’re a fan of Adepta Sororitas or the aircraft of the 41st Millennium, you’ll want to get yourself to the Warhammer 40,000 Open Day on Saturday the 30th of November. A demo area will be showcasing the new Sisters of Battles rules, and you’ll be able to get your hands on one of the new models in the Paint & Take area – that’s right, a free Battle Sister for you!

Pre-orders Nov 23, launch Nov 30 would be my guess based on that blurb from earlier in the week. Which would be a mixed birthday for me that could turn into a happy birthday if we get good rules and some new stuff.

So based off of the last chance to buy options I'm gonna make some predictions:

New Arcos box is a given but I'm gonna guess it'll be with new options/dual kit with something else.

Priests aren't LCTB so I'm guessing SoB are going to see priests fully replaced either by a Sisters specific priest kit or a new HQ altogether.

Death cults and crusaders are out so my guess is that the reworked celestians take one or the other's(or both's) place. Which is why we haven't seen them so far.

Arcos being LCTB while also being the only unit on the ministorum side to explicitly appear in the art reinforces the idea that pengines are going to have the teased ranged and new melee options.

Excorcist and Immolator are Last Chance to buy so that's the first definitive statement about them getting replaced.

just echoing this and just checked the GW USA store page. Esentaly all of the metal SoB, and vehicles are on last chance to buy. So if y'all still want to pick up some of the old kits (pen.engine, immo, exorcist, ect) now is the time to do so.

Lol, the pengine and the exorcist are the kits I most want to replace. They suck to build and are worse to live with.

More power to you guys if you like em but the only kits I can see being worth picking up are the immolator and cannoness.

I prefer the old p.engine, it has a more aggressive look too it.  I don't actually like the exorcist (specifically the organ design, the whirlwind style looks beter) but I want to pick one up more so for collection sake.

It's being reported on Reddit that the initial release box set is up on Taobao - https://www.reddit.com/r/Warhammer40k/comments/de1uor/sisters_box_is_up_on_the_chinese_warhammer_store/. It mostly looks to be easy-to-build.

EDIT: Looking closer I'm less convinced by it being easy-to-build. Yes, there are some very large parts on those sprues limiting posing, but there's also some much smaller ones. Hopefully I'm wrong, and you get the same freedom in the initial release bundle as you'll get in later sets.

They pretty much have to be "Push fit" just based on how the sprue is setup. There's a battle sister and an ArcoFlaggellant on the same frame.

I haven't seen any pegs on the models. Plus, the Seraphim is between 9 and 10 pieces on its own. Is there a snap fit peg for that holstered pistol?

The quotations were my attempt at indicating that I was using push fit in place of a broader 'starter set models that are not the full kit' term I couldn't think of.

Looks like some new paint schemes. I'd guess new Orders Minoris. (For example the yellow armor at 4:40) I am SO looking forward to this box.

Nothing in the box I don’t like... and with the squad sizes their is nothing stopping you from getting a 2nd box when they stop the limited edition version (2 box’s plus a 3rd sisters squad plus transports/ exorcists should give you a nice battalion core)

Now here’s the kicker....what are the rules like!

Those decal sheets are new- they are not laid out like the old sheets; also there are no Inquisition symbols on them anywhere. Good, that is as it should be.

80 cards? Accounting for Objective cards (36) that leave 44 to split between Warlord Traits, Stratagems and Acts of Faith.

I am curious as to what other boxes (units, vehicles) will be available and when.
