I printed these ages ago and Im on a big AT buzz so I got these and a bunch of weapon options for my Warlord painted over the last few days. Should finsih off my acastus and another Warhound over the next few days too. It might just be the picture, but looks like the carapace could benefit from some shading or gradient, especially since you did such a brilliant job on the leg plates. There’s definitely a gradient there, just more subtle than the legs. I’m gonna do up a reaver in this scheme next. Hopefully it shows up better on there. A lot of the time it ends up looking dusty and grey after highlighting, and big, round surfaces are where that happens most easliy. I'm instead going to do quite shiny-looking black on my Psi-titan. Sky-earth lines and so on. I've been applying liquid gold to the edges and will come back to do the black afterwards, because I'm finding it really hard to be neat with the gold. This gold paint is incredibly unforgiving on the parts that I've sculpted. I've had to go back and redo some things because they didn't look good enough. I'm going to have another go at the lion head on the right knee too because I don't think it's quite right. In parallel I've been working on a Warlord for Astorum. I also managed to win quite a nice ebay auction for a battlegroup, rule set and 3 questoris, so I'll be able to field the 5 Warlord maniple I've always wanted. I used one Karacnos tank for the bigger part, replacing the mortar area with machinery and connected that to a body of a Krios tank with an axle made from a Tau gun. Hi Sam, yes, it comes with the power fist and rocket sprues, you get two of them, enough to outfit all 6 Questoris in the box, and it will leave you with spare fists and meltaguns as well.
