While I haven’t played LI, a good number of reports/reviews mention that the game is more dynamic than regular 3/40k which really appeals to me. I may have to bite the bullet and buy the rules. I’ve managed to knock out all the LI infantry save the terminators along with 100 mk4s. Still in the chute are 300 printed beakies. So lots of more to do for sure. Definitely get the rulebook and Slaughter, and I'd recommend printed tokens that have dials for orders, instead of 5 per detachment. Battle scribe is also up to date so a great info source again.
