I think the Corona virus affecting china majorly where a lot of GW's warehouses and manufacturing is done may have a part in this.

No. GW manufactures all its models in Nottingham, right here in the UK. Outside the UK it has major distribution centres in Memphis in the US and Sydney in Australia. The only things I have heard of being outsourced to the far-East is book publishing as GW doesn't print in large enough volumes to be worth opening their own printers (my info on this may be out-of-date).

Bottom line is that GW doesn't manufacture in China so the impact of Covid-19 is likely to be minimal. Similarly, because they don't manufacture in China, they don't need much warehouse space there (I don't know if Warhammer has much of a presence in China).

Fair play im very happy to be wrong

Wasn`t a bad Story, although I was surprised that no one minded the Witchery going on or at least wanted to look into possibly unsanctioned Psykery. But at this Stage, while I love Stories, I REALLY need to know whats goin on Rules- and Modelwise. I am usually a patient Guy...but the Beast inside is getting restless.

Absolutely boring and generic, even tho the last one wasn't the most brilliant and reminded me of the Sage from Asterix and obelix, but not in a good way.

...so I made you a Bingo list:

[ ] Uncreative Space Wolf Name (take distorted Norse god's name and add random wolf body parts)

[ ] BEAST name-dropped, repeatedly. (Not monster. Or some Fenrisian word... nah

.. BEAST!)

[ ] He's a savage - feral and wild!

[ ] Pointy teeth, do not forget!

[ ] ...and he drinks mjod!

[ ] Generic Vision Dream

Followed by:

+ [ ] Awaken in Shock

+ [ ] No recollection of where/how one fell asleep

+ [ ] Sweat!!!

+ [ ] Room super ominously cold (just like Njal's. Or Kva's.)

[ ] Add new made up word for Fenrisian vocabulary, that's not really needed, to describe a distinctive thing.

[ ] Frost/Ice/Storm/Lightning

[ ] Howl/Growl/Snarl

[ ] Stalk/Prowl/Pace

[ ] Atleast 10 mentions of Wolf in the first 3 paragraphs - people need to know its a Space wolves story!

Bonus points:

[ ] ...of Fenris

[ ] Pack!

[ ] Morkai's Teeth! (Not like there are 12 other Wolves of mythical relevance...)

[ ] Wyrd

[ ] The Wolf within

...and that's just us.

Not to speak of the super stern dutiful Imperial Fist or super wise Sage of the White Scars.

(Successor Chapters? What are those? No one remembers those...)

Like, i could live if this was a contest winner for a Black Library student writing contest or so.

But coming from GW proper, that's just... meh.

Deathwatch could still be bundled in

I liked this story. Not hard to improve on last one but I thought it was good. Plus its fun how Wolves send Bloodclaws to the Deathwatch when everyone else sends veterans/tacticals

Another heavy hint of Ragnar

Where did it say he was a blood claw?

If we are trying to keep the whole wulfen thing a secret then sending unknown variables like blood claws out to the death watch seems like a terrible idea.

It doesn't. The short story Deathwatch: Redblade covers the recruitment of a Blood Claw (Drenn Redblade) to the Deathwatch. However this is a one-off story and I don't think it indicates a pattern of behaviour on the part of the Wolves.

One of the Deathwatch Killteam graphic novels has a Wolf Guard in TDA assigned to the Deathwatch so the Wolves are certainly not averse to sending their veterans to them.

PS: we had lore for orks, this week we have lore for wolves.. What is left if this release moves to end of the month :p? There is no more lore left.. maybe Deathwatch tags along after all... :p

FYI it appears Ashes of Prospero is indeed non canon at this point.

Simon Grant answered a question whether the PA release will include those events on FB

I'm not sure if that will ever happen, to be honest. That's always the risk when a BL novel moves beyond the official timeline. I'd consider it a 'what if' that could inspire some cool collections and kitbashing.

Don't know if I'm reading into this too much but the latest Ork comic has the bubble 'Days to Waaagh!: 26', so 26 days till release date?

Nah, it doesn’t.

The previous issue was released on Feb 24 and said 29 days to Waaagh, adding up to March 24.

The one before that was released on Feb 17 and said 31 days to Waaagh, adding up to March 19.

A bit dissappointing for sure, but expected

Halfway through I was starting to get worried that we would end up sharing this PA with the Deathwatch.

Why Worried THe last two beast had to be beaten by either a primarch or a primarch and the Emperor, so our legion that does not have its primarch should not feel ashamed if it needs assistance from the death watch

I like this story too its all very slow hype for SW that's gonna get bigger before the reveals.

It also draws comparisons in the story's between the sw and other chapters sending its veterans, implying that sw send the opposite of a veteran.

I am trying hard to contain my excitment. I rather be pleasantly surprised by Models and Rules rather than utterly dissapointed. Here is hoping Brothers.

Edit: At the same Time, anything that comes now is a Bonus to what we allready have, so either way its better than at the moment.
