Good ol' sock dreads. Nice that you got the autocannon too since that's getting harder and harder to find nowadays.

Yeah, I have had the autocannon for forever and never really used it. Next step is to magnetize them.  And my OCD might make me dig at the left over paint with a dental pick but maybe I can resist. :biggrin.:

Finally finished up the Indomitus marines!

First up some bikes.

More HQs plus a random extra banner man that I have had sitting half done for a LONG time.

And lastly some quick table top- random scouts that I have had primed for a couple years so I threw them into the batch.

A maasive update and looking awesome!

I really like the way you sprinkle HH helmets and gear among your warriors. Didn't actually noticed before how well the HH BA mkIV-type helmets blend with the Primaris aesthetics. Might steal the helmet idea for the Judiciar as I was looking for inspirations and this is perfect :)

Yep, the FW accessories look awesome with the Primaris. All of the transfers are FW too.

Decided to reassemble and magnetize my box dreads. Middle will be a death company dread the others and the rest of the arms will be normal. Now I need to hunt for more weapon options.

YES! Assault intercessor thunder hammer sarg is a thing!

Sadly it looks like the Heavy Intercessors don't have any melee weapon options. But they look SO COOL! They do get Assault guns though.

EDIT: The rules for the Heavy Intercessors weapon options seem to contradict each other also. It says you can only have the Executor or Hellstorm bolt rifles if "no model in this squad are equipped with a Heavy Bolter," but then it goes on to say that for every 5 models, you can replace the various types with 1 of the heavy versions.

Weird wording but it seems you pick one type of rifle and can replace 1 per 5 with the heavy version.

I am meh on the heavy intercessors. I will get a speeder or 2. But I think I need to grab some transports first.

Loving how your Blood Angels are coming along.

Plus I love the old dreads, very much my favorites of the dreadnought lines.

The old metal dreads are primed and waiting for me to airbrush them. I hope to get the airbrushing done soon so I can mount them to bases.

Dreads airbrushed and mounted to bases.  And I already have some touch ups to do on the death company dread. The metal model chipping struggle is real!

So my backlog of things to build is pretty much dry except for some terrain. So, I made myself some hobby by starting the process of stripping and rebasing my old marines (3rd and up, leaving my 2nd alone for historic reasons :biggrin.:). Here is the start of the great repaint! Just for time line reference. The no arm (magnetized) terminators I bought right when they were released. . .and they have only been primed black until now. :teehee:

Making progress on that huge pile of old marines. I am slowly blocking in my 24 terminators. 10 of them are the amazing Space Hulk termis. But those 10 guys have an insane number of little doodads on them. I feel like I have been base coating little doodads for forever!

I just finished up the last of the brush work on my big terminator batch today. Here is a preview of some smiling faces. :biggrin.:  Next steps are a light gloss coat, transfers and then the oil wash to finish them off. I think that metal chaplain termi has been sitting half painted since it was released. . .:whistling:

They are looking gorgeous! The face of the scriptor looks especially ace. Grimm and mighty

Thanks! Yeah, I wanted him to be angry and not as thirsty/vampire looking as the others. I would think the librarians have a little more control over the thirst than most others.

Well, I did the gloss coat this morning and I want to finish with transfers today (not many to do, if any) and start on the oil washing too.

Up next? . . .dreads maybe, or Sang guard?

Finished the Terminator batch today.

But first up are the first 3 rebased marines that I decided did not need a repaint.
