Yes it’s one per maniple. But even at 2500 I don’t think there’s a way to have two Lupercal maniples and two Psi titans. It’s 720 for the Titan and 600 for a barebones Lupercal maniple. 1320 points.

Mines been ordered. I’m getting it some roof gatlings too. Not really sure what arm weapon to go with. Not a bellicosa, as the left hand also generates heat. Plasma, Gatling and quake arms could all work. I don’t see a big argument for a fist though. It’s got a psychic power that lets it move and then fire a gun in the movement phase - sort of like charge but any weapon apart from the left hand. So you want a good gun to take advantage of that.

But it’s also got a power that just drips a big explosion anywhere it can see, instead of moving. And it has a great version of emergency repairs too. Both of those make it stand still, so maybe a quake cannon is best. In that case missiles would be good for the roof as they’re cheap, long-ranged and you’re not too worried if the enemy moves out of arc.

I had missiles, gatlings, and VMBs set aside for my psi-titan along with a quake, Gatling, plasma, and fist (rule of cool). I thought given how powerful their gun might be it would be best to go cheap on a psi-titan’s other guns, this is especially true now given how many points they are. That left gun needs to be firing early and often so I’d rather not waste points on other weapons that need a different arc or range band.

Is it me or do the command terminals in the unboxing video on the community page look like they don’t have the holes for the cog tokens? Did folks have a problem with the original versions that had peg holes (if the new terminals are actually different)?

The card terminals are unpunched as they are two thin for the pegs on the tokens - but the tokens lie flat if you flip them face down so that’s sorted.

Warbringer is definitely more specialised than other titans thus far, especially in its maniple interactions. Funnily enough, both Arcus and Ruptura are quite mobility based groups anchored around the Warbringers hanging back. In Arcus you push the dogs forwards, in Ruptura your Reavers can do merry little dances all day long. It'll be interesting to try them.

I'm obsessed with the Warbringer's whole reloading mechanism at the back of its chassis - when I inevitable get one, I'll be sure to do some re-positioning of the reloading cranes to have a shell being loaded

Curious to see how they'll adapt it for the Bellicosa Volcanon Cannon version - I'm assuming the magazines will be replaced by a pair of large capacitors and there'll be a plethora of cabling to transfer the power up to the main gun

How hard do you think the quake cannon would be to convert for a warlord, would kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

I was actually thinking this myself. Not for ease, but because I think the quake cannon looks bad a** with a revolving magazine rather than just a box on the end. It also helps that I have extra warlord volcano cannons, and also want to make a volcano warbringer

I was thinking about having a Warlord with dual arm Gatling Blasters to count as the "carapace" versions then pl;acing the Nemesis's Quake Cannon on top to act as an "arm" weapon.

If everything is magnetized, I think that it is possible, isn't it?

Which range has the sinistramanus?

Does it have blast?

It’s strength 10, ignores voids, hits automatically, and lets you call shots for free on its first target. We say first target because it fires a beam, and if it manages to take down the first Titan it hit, the beam continues through that Titan to the next target behind it and hits that.

Thats from the Goonhammer review.

It's an absolutely lethal gun, but then it's attached to a ~750 point titan.

Ignoring void shields is great but it means the shields are still up, unless you can do two crits to the body. That would probably be my approach I think.

It looks to me like this guy could be a bit of a glass cannon. It's at least 50% more expensive than a normal Warlord and not really any tougher, especially since you won't be able to do any Legio or maniple schenanigans to keep it ticking. It does have a psychic power that's a great version of repair orders, but it's not really so much better that it'll keep the titan alive 50% longer.

But its damage output is horrific. If it uses its blast psychic power then, if I'm understanding this correctly at least, it lands a S8 quake, concussive hit on everything within 3" of a point it can see, ignoring shields. That's extremely bad news for things like knights and warhound squadrons, and will knock things like Warlords around so they're pointing the wrong way - albeit during the strategy phase so they can turn again during movement... unless they're on first/split fire.

I think maybe it should be given long-ranged weapons like a quake cannon and missiles, so it can hang back and drop death on stuff from a position of relative safety. I'm not that inclined to have it rushing up the field heating up its reactor, but encountering things like melee reavers and knights coming in the other direction.

Im not gonna lie troops My friends are not into Titanicus put off (probably quite rightly) by the starter set price but i am so considering getting the new set Just for the models they look so damn cool! that Psi Titan ooooft

The starter set is like £75 from most online retailers?

Yes, and I took 2 to start with AT. I added a knight household box and a warminger (I like the look of it). In the near future, I'll add 2 warlors and I'll be done for 2 full armies with so many builds (maybe I'll just add a pair of warhounds). I think this is the cheapest game that give 2 full armies with many 1750 pts builds  at this price! (about 330£ with the 2 warlords!)
